I read it. It was racist, and so I expressed my view that racism isn't Christian, and has no place in public.
Nor do false accusations of racism.

Before you go off making them, it would be good to listen to the person to get their explanation before rushing to such harsh judgments.

I don't think an uneducated, ignorant, and immoral person should have the same say in government as someone who is more educated, moral, and decent. That's why I am against equality. That's why equality killed cities like Detroit.

But the Bible never commands permanent redistribution of wealth, the giving to the poor was always for temporary issues, not to give someone a different lifestyle on a permanent basis.


That's somewhat different than an example you gave in the OP. You also seem to have a problem with anti-discrimination ordinances. Which have nothing to do with wealth redistribution. Why is it wrong for a state to provide a recourse if a person feels a business is treating him unfairly? Do you think a state has no right to regulate a private business at all?

Creech has a long history of making racist or otherwise bigoted comments. He's generally polite about it, not directing them at other member's on this board, but he's not shy about his beliefs that some groups of people are superior to others and that inferior group ought not be treated as equals. IIRC, he's also of the belief that races should not intermarry.

As America was originally founded, Liberty always trumped equality. Equality is never mentioned in the original constitution. Freedom is mentioned extensively. The more free men are, the more inequality will exist. The more equality is mandated by the state, the less free men will be.

Equality is emphasized in the Declaration of Independence which is organic law of the US.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

I think the issue isn't that some people aren't as smart or well-educated (a fixable omission) or "moral" as other people, but that they ALL have rights which the law ought to equally protect, and that the law needs to respect those rights, whether it's a right to vote or start a business or buy a cake or get married in Virginia.

There is nothing wrong with being an atheist. I am not calling anyone anything. I am simply saying that no Christian is a racist who makes racist statements and then has others use semantics to defend. Obvious racism and semantic lies are not Christian. This is not directed at anyone in particular.

iluvatar is right. Whether you've "deduced" it or not, stating or implying another member who identifies themselves as Christian is not Christian is against CF Rules.
