  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

When a Christian becomes a Messianic, does he bring all his old religion with him so that nothing has changed?

There is a million youtube prophets and all of them are predicting things.

All of them are the same, they predict and predict, and the one who predicts and who stands against everything that is called of God or that is worshipped is a strange thing to me.

Why would I listen to a prediction to somebody in another religion?

I see Christians who converted back to God's religion and nothing has changed accept that they start learning the feasts, and they bring all their old beliefs with them, and where they were prophets in a different religion, they continue in that same practice in predicting.

They don't even skip a beat.

The last chapter of Daniel is about somebody predicting the end to come, but the prediction fails, and because the prediction fails, it causes the many to fall away from God.

Just like the great prophet Harold Camping, millions of people watched him, and what did he accomplish besides turning people away from God?

I just don't believe what everyone else believes a prophet is.

I don't believe the duty of a prophet is to predict events in nature.

It just isn't what a prophet does, a prophet does not predict the end of days outside of what God has said.

What is the spirit a prophet is working in when he predicts the future?

Certainly he thinks it's a spirit of God, he looks for signs everywhere, and if he should really see a sign, it isn't for predicting anything.

A spirit can come teaching, but a prophet who is predicting by guessing is chaos and confusion and it leaves countless of people in it's wake.

I have spent many a night crying over predictions of others I had faith in, and for what?

I fell away from God, but if their prediction even comes true, what does it accomplish?

Absolutely nothing.

A prophet teaches, and if he sees signs, it is only come to teach.

And when the spirit really does come to teach, it cannot teach because the person is hung up on a spirit of predicting, and they think the signs are for them to tell somebody something, and that's just not how it works, and until people learn how it works, they will be prophets, but I would not call them prophets of God.

But how many people will begin a sentence, '' God told me?''

It doesn't matter that what they think God told them contradicts God, they just know God told them.

After that happens, they cannot learn truth because God told them.

This is true but why did God speak through a donkey to rebuke a false prophet because he was seeking his own gain over the word of God
Most prophets and revivals do is to offer a sign"come and see the things God does through his great man" yet Yeshua said a wicked and evil generation seek a sign so what company does one put oneself in there...
Prophets have always been those whos mission is to warn people that they must walk in Gods way the old testiment prophets did fortell judgment and the coming of Messiah but always attached to a message that had its core at returning the heart towards living for God.
If a person bound by sin comes to one of these prophets all they will be told is trust God their is no knowledge in them to preach deliverance to the captive no bringing sight to those who can not see what the scriptures teach
They say I have a vision but it draws men to them because it is a lie what is truth draws to truth...Jesus said If I be lifted up I draw men unto me...the spirit comes after the death of the flesh all else is still flesh and will only reap corruption.

Ok so is not Jonathan Cahn doing that?
Warning that since we have taken God out of the picture and so divorced ourselves from supporting Israel we are about to be judged?
Repent and return seems to be the message to me....

Also it does not take a prophet to see clearly that as a nation places its desire to honor wickedness above God the wickedness itself brings death to that nation. The church should realize if they have portraid a way in which the majority of a nation can believe they are in that way and yet sin increases by leaps and bounds decade by decade then they are teaching a false way

Is it a bestseller amoung the wicked because he is telling the people they are wicked...I cant speak to this I was speaking of a more general condition...but Yeshua warns to be ware when men speak good of you...still honestly I only read a couple pages in a store but just be wary lies ride on truth...that is not to say the one speaking is not sincere...dont think Im saying that

Understand that more in democracy than any other government those elected represent the desire of the people. We speak of their corruption, wrong policies, and greed but how did they get there if people were truely against them they would not be there

I think the church is afraid because the government has too much power over them.
The way this guy teaches is refreshing.

We made that trade when we took their tax free status made ourselves "slave to the lender" as balim did for the Kings money so have our churches done.

I didn't watch very much of what dude said, but I am sure that he is refreshing, just as many are if they are teaching any kind of truth. Like me, when I became a Messianic, many different types of Messianics were teaching many things in many ways.

I was a Pentecostal, and I met many Messianics that were Pentecostal, and I spoke in tongues for 35 years or so, but when I converted, I no longer believed in speaking in tongues. My entire family still speak in tongues, they still get slain in the spirit, and I felt this one time, and only one time.

I almost went to my knees, it was something I had always wanted. My mother walks into a church and at just the sight of her, people do fall down drunk, some of them passed out drunk, and all are prophesying just like the 70 elders as it were.

But when I converted, I didn't bring any of that with me.

I found out what tongues really was.

I had made it through many difficult times speaking in tongues, but I see it as a human thing now, like a hindu would hum.

If you believe in a thing, the body can make it happen for you.

But even though there were so many Messianics, some legalistic even, they all teach a common lesson, and this is good.

To come back, to return to respecting Torah, to learning the feasts, and they are all refreshing.

All of them working for a return, but I still raise my eyebrow at people predicting things the way they do. And so many people saying,'' Thus sayeth the Lord.'' when it is a voice in them, but not exactly God.

I love some of these guys teaching though, you glean truth from wherever you find it.

If a man is quoting history, and comparing, there is nothing wrong with that. I will talk of Obama and 9-11 and see what had already taken place, and the truth is really in everything. This harbinger guy brings a lot of truth, and I could see learning this and that, but the idea is to look for the meat.

If it isn't teaching the secrets of Torah and who Jesus is, it sometimes takes away from the truth.

I mean to say, that there are millions of people who are only concerned with conspiracies and sometimes they are right. But proving an event here or one compared to history repeating itself can be a life consuming thing.

To go from milk to eating meat.

To go from having a child to raising a child can often be put aside by people obsessed with looking for an antichrist, or looking to when some tragic event will happen.

We should all be studying the law and finding the law and secret of Jesus in all the laws, so that we can read parables and move progressively in the knowledge of Christ as it would be for a man studying to be a priest.

But how many people spend all their time after prophets and prophecies?

They get an idea of what they think a prophet does, and they can't see the truth because they are caught up in the signs.

Ahab and Jezebel were the leaders of the Northern kingdom of Israel.

Elijah was sent against them to make them return, he confronted their prophets and brought fire down to consume the sacrifice after all those false prophets put marks on themselves.

Micaiah Prophesies against Ahab
…20"Then a spirit came forward and stood before the LORD and said, 'I will entice him.' And the LORD said to him, 'How?' 21"He said, 'I will go and be a deceiving spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.' Then He said, 'You are to entice him and prevail also. Go and do so.' 22"Now therefore, behold, the LORD has put a deceiving spirit in the mouth of these your prophets, for the LORD has proclaimed disaster against you."…

The Northern kingdom is the evil kingdom, and Elijah was sent to them, not to Judah.

Likewise, John was sent to Galilee of the nations, to the land of Joseph, to the land of Naphtali and Zebulun. A land whose people sat in darkness because God has put an end to their kingdom and they had become Gentiles, but as Gentiles, God promised them that he would bring them back, and so the promise is,'' Those who were oppressed{Israel} who sat in darkness have seen a great light.''

And John stood before them to prepare them as brides to be married to a Jew, and thereby gaining a redemption through a marriage of redemption, an open door.

This kingdom of Ephraim went about as drunkards proclaiming that they had the new wine that was to come, they had the great prophets, not Judah, and it was them who had separated from their brother.

They called the Torah a strange thing, and appointed their own prophets. They rejected Jerusalem and the feasts of Messiah and created their own worship system apart from God's commandments.

But God sends people down to be a lying spirit, and the person who believes the lie is given over to a great delusion.

This delusion makes them believe that they themselves are God, and they have the Holy spirit. They sit in their temples standing against all that is called of God or that is worshipped, and so they must be greater than God to have the authority to stand against God and his worship system.

Spirits come and they move a person here or there, but is it always the spirit of Jesus?

People think that if a spirit has come to them to show them signs and coincidence, it must be the Holy spirit.

But there is a spiritual warfare taking place, and many sons of the kingdom are sent here and there to nudge this way or that way.

We are told of this spiritual war and how it works in the New testament like the disciple wanting to call fire down from heaven, but we have many examples in the old.

An Angel was sent to talk to Daniel, but before he could get to Daniel, the king of Persia withstood him, and how could this be, unless there is a region appointed to a heavenly king of Persia in the middle of warfare?

You become a Christian and sweep your house out and 7 spirits come that were worse than the spirit you kicked out.

You become a Christian and are often given over to Satan for testing, for sifting, for refining, and this usually makes you look like an idiot, it is to humble you.

Revelation speaks about how the devil will put some of us in prison for ten days, why ten days, and why are they given over?

Not sure how you stick this to a teacher of the Word of God though
His message is simple
We were a Godly nation
Now we are not
We use to support Israel
Now we do not
The Bible says we will be judged if we don't repent and return
Simple enough

A Christian nation as many people say, was a Godly nation?

Are you sure?

Are you talking about America, and Christians of America?

Gentiles converted to another religion 2000 years ago.

The Gentiles leaving Judah began a 2000 year all out war against Judah, God's people.

When Hitler came, we refused to do anything, and we gathered of our forces hiding in a single place, and the enemy found us BECAUSE we did nothing.

We sat and watched Judah being taken away and did nothing until we ourselves were struck again on 9-11.

And again, we are choosing sides against Israel with an antichrist president.

WE OURSELVES, WE are paying for the rockets that are flying above Judah from Gaza, WE BUY them.

But where does the fault lie?

Is it because these crazy Muslims hate Jews, and hate us for not hating them enough?

You can trace the fault all the way back to the day Gentiles converted to another religion after rejecting the worship system of God, and after rejecting Jesus in his feast days.

Christianity began this by leaving their own Passover they claim is a sacrifice for them and then they turn around and kill people for keeping the sacrifice.

Even Mohammed began Islam with Pasover, Pentecost, and Sukkot, but had Christianity stayed loyal to the Jews, and to God's one true religion, there would not be an Islam.

Imagine a world 600 years after Jesus died, a world where the gentiles were still one with Jews, and were still a part and sect of Judaism.

The whole world would have been one religion but the Christians separated and began their own religion.

Imagine a world where Christians remained coheirs along with their brother.

Imagine a United states to where every Christian had Feast days in common with Christ, and with God.

Imagine a religion that for 2000 years, it's followers of Christ went up to Jerusalem from year to year to worship the king.

Do you think there would be a difference between a Jew and a Gentile now?

But because Christians rejected the Torah calling it a strange thing, and because the Christians went back to their old feast days, and created a new Holy city with a new Temple, all Mohammed did was follow Christianity's lead.

When was America ever a nation of God under God?

When they slap up a plaque of the ten commandments and then fight to fight atheists saying,'' we are a nation under God,'' who are they kidding?

A Christian nation is a nation who stands against all that is called of God or that is worshipped, and this is easily proven in the works of their hands, and rampant idolatry, idol worship, all wrapped around the feast days of the Babylonian Messiah.

But the majority of todays prophets and teachers are not teachers of Torah, and their Holy days, traditions and rituals are not the Holy days and things of God.

The lie and delusion has spread so far and wide that even the elect are almost fooled.

We have one Jesus who is a gentile and has abolished the law to take on the ways of the nations, and to teach of their Babylonian Messiah.

Then there is another Jesus whose followers are nothing like the followers of Tammuz{Jesus in Babylon}.

And the majority of those who think they are prophets, they are the same ones who have converted to a Gentile lawless Jesus, the same lawless Jesus that other nations my point and say,'' America is a Christian nation.''

I see America filled with prophets but whose prophets?

Zechariah 13

An End to Idolatry
…3"And if anyone still prophesies, then his father and mother who gave birth to him will say to him, 'You shall not live, for you have spoken falsely in the name of the LORD'; and his father and mother who gave birth to him will pierce him through when he prophesies. 4"Also it will come about in that day that the prophets will each be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies, and they will not put on a hairy robe in order to deceive; 5but he will say, 'I am not a prophet; I am a tiller of the ground, for a man sold me as a slave in my youth.'…

We were never Godly as a nation we were moral yes we used the.word of God to shape those morals but most founding fathers were diest. We took the land from those that were here before us, we were capatalist who took from the land for gain, we seperated from england over money, we used men as farm animals for money...yes slavery is in the bible but with the greatest restrictions that a man is in the image of God...morales are far away from Godly...we the people...all men are created with certain unalienable rights life liberty and pursuit of happiness...but we used child labor, used africans as cattle, chinese as expenable tools, slaughtered indians for land and gold...not so much Godly...even if we had held to that idea it is not biblical...the bible says all men are born slaves to sin and to pursue that nature is death...
That said I have loved my country and served it, Ive been to several countries none have our prosperity I plan to live no where else except if God call me to it untill it is time to go to Jerusalem...but have no illusians of as a nation us being Godly

I am certainly not against you Tishri, and I know that Christians are saved, just as I know that my mother and my sisters are saved, and the simple thing of Jesus is easy for anyone to see.

Love your neighbor as you love yourself, and America stands above the nations in this, and in their support for Israel.

I am not saying we are a nation of devils, but on the contrary, we are the one nation who has seriously helped Israel, but we shouldn't stop there.

We should teach the gospel of the kingdom of heaven, and this isn't just a gospel that says,'' Jesus Jesus.''

It is a gospel of a kingdom to which two men were taken, and one man was created from the two, and a true prophet is going to have one goal in mind, and this is to work in the spirit of Elijah, and I know you know what that is because it is in you.

Prophets should be teaching that the 3 sections of the Temple are only a mirror image of what heaven is.

There is the way in the court, and there is the truth when one progresses into the Holy place where the menorah and bread is.

You have the spirit of a prophet in you, and we all have the propensity to walk in the role of a prophet, but we must learn through knowledge what the difference between a false prophet and a true prophet is.

The world assumes that the prophet is to predict, but the spirit of a prophet teaches, and when signs come, they only come to lead into concepts, and truth.

Let us say that a spirit has come to you to teach you all things.

He will use dreams and visions, and coincidence becomes an every day thing, all day long. You walk into your garage, and you are burning incense and listening to music, and coincidence comes, and it clicks something from the bible and you search what is trying to be taught to you.

You are sitting there watching the smoke, and the smoke collects together and you see many little tiny snakes, and those many small snakes turn into one big snake made of smoke.

Things like this actually happen to people, but when they happen, they are only trying to get you to learn something, not to go and tell somebody of your dream or vision, or to think it is a sign to warn somebody. You have to look at everything as a nudge.

Let's say that you are a son of God in heaven, an angel, and you are sent down to lead somebody into learning something, but you can't speak directly to them.

We know that angels are here don't we?

And we are told that people have angel's and the righteous have angel's who appear before God on a daily basis, and they appear before God on your behalf.

So your an angel and you want to teach somebody something, to lead them into all truth as it says,'' The spirit will come teaching all things.''

You show a person a vision, and they freak out because of their mentality of what they assume a sign does, or a vision does.

The angel just wanted to lead them, and so they saw a vision, but instead of picking up the bible to follow a lead, they drop everything and begin prophesying.

The more dreams and visions, the more the person becomes crazy, because he is convinced the visions are for him to prophesy.

So the human mind becomes overwhelmed at what it sees, and they become confused because of their preconceived ideas.

Everytime a vision is given, it disrupts their whole life because they can't be cool.

But what about the person who has realized that he is given dreams and visions to follow the signs KNOWING that they are just there to lead into scripture, into learning?

What happens to the man who has learned to be cool and has learned to keep his mouth shut?

Whoever, or whatever is teaching him can know that he could have a snake actually talk to him, KNOWING that the subject will not freak out, and Knowing that whatever is shown, the subject goes straight to it. He picks up the bible and where he has spoken to a serpent, he studies serpents, and he just follows the lead and doesn't mention it to anyone, because he has learned silence.

To that person who has learned silence, he might have dreams all the time, and he may see visions all the time, and he has learned not to tell anyone, he learned that they only come to teach, and the faster a person will follow a lead, the sooner another lead will come.

But this plan is greatly hindered by people who have preconceived ideas about what the spirit comes to do.

When a person gets 30 years old in the spirit, they begin a walk.

What is the very first thing that happens in this walk?

They walk in Passover dying to themselves daily, but the beginning of this walk is what?

Jesus began his walk like any man would do, and the first thing that happened once he committed was that Satan carried him up to a pinnacle of the temple and showed him the entire world and what he could have if he followed Satan{glorious vain things of flesh and of mountains}.

Jesus walked in the role of a prophet after he was confronted with great glory by the father of lies, and how many people do you suppose, turns the offer down?

Jesus went right through it, but Moses went through it 3 times.

How many Christians see the glory of them becoming the great prophet of the Lord?

How many Christians take the bait and begin building their own church with the idea that everyone will call the Rabbi and pay them their dues, but Jesus built no literal church, instead, he didn't even have a place to rest his head, and he and his disciples went about as homeless collecting money for the widows and relying on God for every need.

How many Christians have began their walk and accepted the glorious things the father of lies offer?

But this is only the beginning, and this is the beginning of walking in the role of a prophet, and it is a beginning to a view of finishing and progressing to the wheat in Shavuot, and to walk as a priest in Shavuot.

It also has a beginning of temptation just as it was when a person began in Passover.

The father of lies wants you to be glorious, and it can truly come to you, to be the great prophet to which the world will say,'' Who is like unto the great prophet?''

You can really call fire down from heaven in the sight of all men and stand there in your glory.
