Funny how Orthodox, Copts and Catholics are told that we are not allow to have icons and statuary of the saints, yet at CPAC, they have this:

"The statue was on its way to the conference's exhibit hall, where it found a home in a booth for a conservative nonprofit called Look Ahead America."
Golden Trump statue turns heads at Conservative Political Action Conference
Oof. In all loving kindness: educate yourself, my dude. Before I comment, does EO bow down to statues?
And is this a debate forum?
Oof. In all loving kindness: educate yourself, my dude.
The answer is no, they don’t.That is exactly what I was doing, my dudette
Trump said "Mexico doesn't send the best." This time, he was right.
The answer is no, they don’t.
He was right when he said it before. We need merit based immigration.
See, the Catholic do bow to them so not sure why you find it so surprising.
Right - you're not allowed to have statues of the saints. Trump's not a saint, so there's no problem. Duh.
The Catechism of the Church regards statues only as sacrementals, with no intrinsic power whatever, and that it is a sin to believe that they do have power. A statue of Jesus is only there to remind us of him and focus our worship on Jesus, not the statue.
If that's all that the Golden Trump is to his followers, then yes, they are worshiping Trump, not the representation of him.
I do notice that when the United States had no "merit-based" immigration law at all, those were the decades when the United States became a world economic power, and our standard of living rose rapidly.
If that's all that the Golden Trump is to his followers, then yes, they are worshiping Trump, not the representation of him.
In other words, the whole thread has been nonsense.

As far as I know, no one bows to the Trump image.
LOL!
Golly Gee, you got me there.
