Granted, and it's not my desire to promote risque dressing in public.
But the original complaint was about bikinis which were described as wicked. Bikinis are worn on the beach, were designed for that purpose, and so it is entirely appropriate to wear them there.
If they were worn in church for services of worship, weddings or funerals, popping to the shops or working a shift on a ward, they would be entirely inappropriate. (Unless the church service was on the beach.) Paul was writing about propriety in worship.
Are you saying it's appropriate for Christians to wear revealing clothing at public beaches?
