  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The God and civilizations

The humans are not certain about the time of their beginning or origin of life. They also don’t know how they spread over the lands on the whole world. The distances, less means of communications, different climates and different natural resources affected their lives by different ways making different civilizations. These factors of any civilization are not objectionable but many civilizations cherished and have been cherishing false beliefs against the supremacy of the one, the God.
To pray to the God and ask for his favors is an inborn instinct in every human. This instinct is the base of having a faith or belief. The selfish interpretations of this natural instinct made the humanity divided into different religions. The instinct is the same but the claims of having better or best interpretations divided the humanity. The God is one but stress is laid upon the personalities, with claims of superiority of one or more over the others. The God doesn’t want humans to be engaged in such superfluous conflicts. The God sent his messengers not to establish their dignity but to tell the humanity about his supremacy and his supremacy alone. Whenever a prophet or a true preacher challenged the false norms, customs and beliefs of any civilization, he faced many difficulties. He was admonished not to interfere otherwise be ready to face the dire consequences. The very thought of forsaking the false beliefs of their forefathers fell heavy upon them and the so called honorable people of the society got much annoyed because they took it as a threat to their honor and power. In many civilizations people got much strayed and began praying many gods and self made idles also. Their selfishness made them quarrel even on the supremacy of the idols, every group claiming his idols and other belongings to be superior to others.
I think that many known religions of the world in the beginning were true and right. There followers were humble, cooperative and straight forward, but with the passage of time when they gained strength, they turned aggressive and proud with the intrusion of some or many misinterpretations. There selfishness enticed them to claim that which they own is superior, the only right and so called truth. Their prayers lacked the sincerity and changed into ceremonies. Many religions adopted such ceremonies which were/are an abuse to the word, “PRAYERS”.
In most cases majority and power compelled the people to change their religion or prevailing socio-economic circumstances forced them to do so. In the beginning of every true religion, when the focus was only, “THE GOD” the believers were very few. Most of them who joined the expansion trend were/are insincere claiming some basic advantages over rest of the humanity. Perhaps nowadays the claim of these special advantages is called fundamentalism.
The nature and forces of nature have nothing to do with any religion or belief but the people do consciously or unconsciously think that these are the participants in their faiths and civilizations. Land, trees, flowers, mountains, lakes, rivers, oceans, winds, clouds, birds, and animals have nothing to do with the faiths of the people living there, although these affect the lives of the people or become a part of their civilizations. River Nile is neither Egyptian nor Arabic, neither Muslim nor of any other religion and the Himalayas or the Ganges have nothing to do with the Hindu religion. It doesn’t matter for the water of the Ganges that the territory in which it flows is named India and the people living on its bank hold this water sacred. The nature is not concerned with the people but the people are concerned with the nature. Climates and weathers don’t bother about the race or religions of people but people do bother about and have to bother about them.
The God, the creator of the universe and the nature don’t like or dislike races and civilizations. The God loves those who love him, irrespective of the languages, races, and communities. The nature is controlled by the God only and the God cares for his believers. The civilizations flourish or become extinct, can remain constant for some time or change rapidly but the believers of the God had been/ have been believing the same religion, same basic ethics, same natural values whenever and wherever they lived or live.
Love the God and do not have such love for any one else. Only he is worthy of all praises, only he is center of all trusts and has the power to fulfill these all.

To the God

Oh, the God let me know to what community you belong.
And what community you prefer to be called as of yours?

To what religion you have given the authority to be true,
And allowed to call all the others heathens and ******?

With what rituals and ceremonies you like to be pleased,
And to avoid your wrath what must not be performed?

On your land where I have to pray and where not,
In what shape of temples or what type of mosques?

What types of prayer leaders I have to follow,
Many claim that only they are aware of the right path?

Do you prefer a group of humans over all the rest?
And their ways or kind of worship you hold the best?

Are you God of divisions and not the God of all humans?
Not the God of universe but God of the pilgrimage lands?
