I know we get so many untruths,

From Flat Earthers, yes.

I must admit though, that they have done a thorough job at convincing most of the world that we live on sphere.

They haven't convinced anyone - they've researched, discovered and experimented, using the skill that GOD gave them, since everything comes from him.
And they've given us the facts - the way that it is.

Just because you don't believe that a sunset is due to the tilt of the earth, doesn't mean that it isn't.
Just because you don't accept that the earth is a sphere/globe that rotates, doesn't mean that it doesn't.
Just because you don't accept that you live on a globe earth, doesn't mean that you don't.
It means that you don't believe it - that's all there is to it. You don't believe it.
It changes nothing.

The problem with your narrative is that most, if not all of us on here, have done our own research into the shape of the earth.

You have consistently failed to explain why the sun you saw setting did not get smaller as it allegedly moved further away from you, and did go down below the horizon.

This is what I find with flat earthers, any inconvenient truth which contradicts their assertions is simply ignored.

I’ve said that I have really looked into flat earth. I started with the question “is it possible that the earth is flat?” And I went from there, taking a number of years to examine claims of a personal friend who is a flat earther. Each claim he made fell because the reality proved otherwise.

So I’m no novice and no gullible person who just believes whatever he’s told. I’ve done plenty of digging on the topic.

And your failure to explain anything to do with flat earth merely strengthens globe earth arguments all the more!

You really hit an important point. Anybody with a simple construction level, a camera, an airplane ticket, a GPS, starlight TV, a basic understanding of physics and geometry, persistent observation of the sun, moon, and stars, or a good laser can prove the earth is a sphere without the Internet, NASA, my friend Copernicus, or any of the other sources who have been accused of lying.

There is no mention of a flat earth in the Bible and the verses that you are citing for a static earth are misinterpreted because they are not literal.

That is why we have summer, fall, winter and spring and back to summer. That is also why southern states are hotter than states in the north.

Because once the sun reaches either tropic it begins its journey back to the other tropic.

So why does the artic circle and Antartic circle have a midnight sun during their respective summers?

I still don’t see an explanation as to why you observed the sun going down below the horizon while maintaining its size when it absolutely should not do either of these things if the earth is flat.

1. verses 8-36 is a psalm of thanksgiving so it is poetry and song. The psalmist uses symbolic language.

2. Look at verses 28-32.

Verse 30 is a powerful call for universal worship “tremble before Him, all the earth” not just a little of the earth but all of it. Notice that the psalmist is using the earth as symbolic of everyone. The world is firmly established and will not move because God has a firm control over His creation providing order and a secure foundation for His people. The Lord reigns, let the sea roar, and let the field rejoice just as the heavens rejoice. It’s all about God’s power and love for His creation.

So you do say he’s a liar. The number of people you accuse of lying goes up again.

And you haven’t even tried yourself.

You saw the sun going down below the horizon without changing size as it set. This is completely contrary to flat earth claims. Yet you continue to ignore that fact. That shows a lack of honesty on your own part.
