CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

FFAM: I have an old black and white photograph of my Maternal Great Grandparents, my Grandfather and his 6 brothers and sisters, sitting on my desk. My Grandfather is the baby sitting on my Great Grandmothers lap. My Great Grandmother looks strikingly like my Mother, as do I. This picture had to have been taken around 1920. Even though their clothing is not representative of the fashions of the erra. My great grandparents were born in America. They were of Swedish ancestry. They were Lutheran . All 9 of them are blonde.

Every child born within the Swedish line of my family was born a blonde. That is until my 7th child who was born with strawberry blonde hair aka a redhead.

My eyes were brown when I was born. They stayed brown until I was two or three years old when they turned hazel green/blue/grey.

I LOVE to squish my 2 year-old's little ear lobes. OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH, they're so cute!!
(I also pinch his little cheeks. He's so used to it, he turns his little face up to me!)
