My point is: because we take God off school teaching, the world is walking toward the end time.

Hey, look everyone! Juvie thinks it is we who control God! God is our robot, we just do this, so we can make him do what we want. I guess Juvie isn't a complete deist, because he does think God can intervene when we decide we want him to.

I'm still waiting to see what Juvie has done to object to those evil atheistic math classes, that conspire to exclude God from math equations, or chemistry, or physics, or english grammar classes (-), etc. Remember, Juvie, I asked you this in post #171:
Juvie, could you tell me specifically what difference you have seen in courses in Chemistry and math between Christian and secular schools? How about Anatomy? Physiology? English grammar?

Again, your opinion.
Yes but its an opinion based on scriptural reasons you have been unable to address.

Don't know and don't care.
You are not doing very well in the discussion are you :)

Oh I see, you're saying God speaks through fables. No surprise.
...and poetry, parable and metaphor, genealogy, law and historical narrative. Are you saying God can't speak through fable?

Why can't you address Judges 9 and if you think it is so terrible for God to speak through a fable, actually show us how it's literary form isn't fable? All you do is lash out with sneering retorts that do not address any of the points we make.

So you're saying I'm not a Christian?
No, just a fearful one, gripping hold of his proof texts afraid to search what the word of God actually holds for us.

Again, your opinion.
You mean you have addressed our points? Where? How did I miss it?

See above.
You think you actually are doing well in this discussion when you cannot answer any points we make? This is a discussion forum. You kind of suggests you need to be able to discuss.

You know I am torn here, in one way it is great the way you keep avoiding all our points, it shows the emptiness of creationist hermeneutics. On the other hand all the ducking and diving and lobbing proof texts you refuse to discuss isn't really showing Christianity in a great light.

...and poetry, parable and metaphor, genealogy, law and historical narrative. Are you saying God can't speak through fable?
Don't need fables when you have God's Word, Genesis - Revelation.
Again doesn't answer the question.

Are you saying God can't speak through fable?

And do you also say we "Don't need poetry, parable and metaphor, genealogy, law and historical narrative when you have God's Word, Genesis - Revelation."?

Sneering? LOL.
Oh things like like
Another Hebrew expert?
Comparing God's Word to Aesop's fable? How sad.
Oh I see, you're saying God speaks through fables. No surprise.
It wouldn't be so bad if you actually addressed our points, but you still haven't answered my questions about Judges 9. Here it is again in case you missed it.

No, just a fearful one, gripping hold of his proof texts afraid to search what the word of God actually holds for us.
You're getting quite desperate.
If you think so, why not show us we are wrong by actually discussing the scripture with us. The more you avoid our points and refuse to answer our question the clearer it is you are afraid to look at what the word of God says.

You didn't miss it. You just didn't accept the answer.

Where did you get that nonsense?

If you have proof then present it.

You didn't miss it. You just didn't accept the answer.
Replying is not the same as answering our points. Feel free to go back and show how your replies are in any way relevant to the points we raised if you like.

Where did you get that nonsense?
That this is a discussion forum and people expect discussion?

Again, your opinion. You have lots of opinions.
So do you, but we can back our opinions up from scripture and we answer the points you bring up by looking at what scripture actually says. You don't.

]If you have proof then present it.
Asking you a question does not need proof. but in case you missed it, here is the question again.

Are you saying God can't speak through fable?

And do you also say we "Don't need poetry, parable and metaphor, genealogy, law and historical narrative when you have God's Word, Genesis - Revelation."?
Now you're getting it.
I actually got at that point a long time ago, but you ducked and dived and avoided the point.

It is actually nonsense because Genesis - Revelation is poetry, parable and metaphor, genealogy, law and historical narrative. Which means your reply was just as nonsensical when you said:
Don't need fables when you have God's Word, Genesis - Revelation.
Because you are still confusing the literary forms with being God's word. If God choses to speak through poetry, metaphor, parable or fable, it is still God's word.

Your point?
I made it in the next sentence.

It wouldn't be so bad if you actually addressed our points, but you still haven't answered my questions about Judges 9. Here it is again in case you missed it.
You don't accept my points. Get it right.
Sure I don't accept your points, but I have addressed the points you made and give you reasons why I don't agree. That is the bit you are missing out on.

You can call the Bible anything you like. I call it God's Word.
I call it it the word of God too. But you still haven't addressed my points.

Why can't you address Judges 9 and if you think it is so terrible for God to speak through a fable, actually show us how it's literary form isn't fable?

Hi Preecher,
Rather than duck and dive, I would be interested as well to find out why God cannot speak to us with poetry, fables and especially the Judges 9 passage.

You really know how to shoot yourself in the foot, you've just told us you agree with Theistic Evolution :D

More utter piffle! So if God was included in all the schooling then the world wouldn't be heading towards the end times?

Lord Jesus says that "if" will not happen.

More incomprehensible garbage, what "if" are you talking about? If God is included in schooling the end times will or wont come? Or is this just deliberate obfuscation?

Hi,

I know the Flood isn't strictly to do with origins, but it seems quite connected to it

So my question is, the Noah's Flood was worldwide how did plants survive?

One potential explanation is that the flood only destroyed the known world to man at that time. This means that plants were left intact in other areas and the natural process of regeneration continued after the flood waters receded.
