Hey guys I was wondering if someone could shed some info here, I thought I would try this board for awhile, espcially for this question.
Tradition has it that Simon Peter was the first Bishop of the early church, but today I watched a special on A&E which had some hot shot theologine say that actually James was the first bishop, then he quoted Paul from Galatians maybe. I'm confused now...
Could anyone shed some light?
