Well, we are talking over 35 yrs or so ago but if my aging memory serves me correct:

Beatles "Help"
Iron Butterfly's In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida
Led Zeppilin #1
The Monkeys
3 Dog Night (Jeremy was a bullfrog album)

of course cant be sure that these were the first five but they would gave been in the first ten...

Wow, that was a long time ago! :D

Guess that these were the first ones I bought with my own money...

Doobie Brothers: Best of the Doobies
Cher: Half Breed
Styx: Pieces of Eight (8 track)
The Monkees: More of the Monkees (8 track)
The Beatles: The White Album

I usually "borrowed" my older siblings albums, like Led Zeppelin, Cream, Janice Joplin, CCR, etc.

Journey (can't remember which one)
Nirvana - Nevermind
Foo Fighters (no idea, I don't listen to them anymore)
Metallica - Black Album
Blink 182 - Enema of the State *shudders*

Yeah, I'm not particularly proud of some of the music I used to listen to.
