• Welcome to Christian Forums
  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.
  7. There has been an addition to the announcement regarding unacceptable nick names. The phrase "Let's go Brandon" actually stands for a profanity and will be seen as a violation of the profanity rule in the future.

    Psalm 32:
    I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye.
9 Do not be like the horse or like the mule, without understanding,
which must be harnessed with a bit and bridle, else they will not
    come near you.

For the eye of the Lord to guide us in His Way, our eye must be single,
dedicated to the simplicity of the life in Christ.

    Luke 11:
The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body
also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness.

35 Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness.
36 If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be
full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light.

Piecing this together, this is walking in the light.
    1 John 1:
This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you,
that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness,
we lie and do not practice the truth.
7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one
another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Walking in the light is fellowship with Him, and also with one another.
    1 John 2:
He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now.
10 He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for
    stumbling in him.

    This is a Blessed Assurance
    Psalm 33:
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope
    in His mercy,
19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Our soul waits for the Lord;He is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name.
22 Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, just as we hope in You.

The Eye of the Lord brings chastisement upon those who stray
    Ezekiel 7:
My eye will not spare you, Nor will I have pity; But I will repay your ways, And your abominations will be in your midst; Then you shall know that I am the Lord!’
9 ‘My eye will not spare,Nor will I have pity; I will repay you according to your ways,
And your abominations will be in your midst. Then you shall know that I am the Lord
    who strikes.

Proverbs 20:12 The hearing ear and the seeing eye,
The Lord has made them both.
