I can't go to work. My car door is locked and I forgot how to open it.

I can't. I already did that today and don't feel like doing it any more.

Time to get off the Internet and do something productive.

Yeah, but, I have to be bossy because that's my nature and it's important to always be yourself.

Can you make me a sandwich?

Unfortunately, a goat got into my flour, so I can't make any bread, and therefore, no sandwich.

Will you take out the trash?

No, because Juan Valdez just called me and said there is a shortage of coffee, so we need to ration what we have.

Read an entire book today and then write up a brief report on it.

My eyes hurt and it would hurt really bad to read. And my hands also hurt so I can't write. Or type.

Finish your lunch.

I can't finish my lunch because I just put my elbow in it and now it's all smashed. Eeew! Nobody likes smashed lunch.

Take a five mile walk.

I would but I already ran 10 miles today. Maybe some other day.

Finish that laundry, will you?

I'm out of laundry detergent, it will have to wait til payday.

Sorry, but I can't. I just spent my last dollar on a lottery ticket. If I win the big one, then maybe I can loan you the $50.00.

Help me clean my house.

I'm fresh out of cleaning products, plus I'm no good at it.

I can't go to bed now. My cat was playing with matches and set my bed on fire... burned up the whole thing.

Buy a new car.

I could do that, but I like my Rolls Royce too much.

You should drink less soda.

 

[Matthew-59]

I really don't think I should do that because the latest doctor's report has shown that by drinking more soda the immune system can better resist the onset of Japanese encephalitis, Barmah Forest, Ross River, and Chikungunya viruses. I prefer to stay healthy, so will be drinking more soda.

Take a job as a rodeo clown.

No can do; I'm allergic to make-up and face paint, even the hypo-allergenic stuff, seriously. My throat closes up and everything.

No way. My hiking shoes are last year's fashion and I won't be seen in that.
