No, you don't understand. The earth is a flat(ish) disk, and the moon is small and "orbiting" a path somewhere along the equator. People in the southern hemisphere are looking at the back of the moon, which just happens to look exactly like an upside moon in the northern hemisphere.

If you marked where you are standing.....then walked in a straight line for 10,000 miles...then turned 90 deg.....walked another 10,000 miles....then turned 90 deg.....and walked another 10,000 miles....you would be back where you began. On a flat earth you would need to turn 4 times instead of 3 times on a globe.

This is only true at the poles, but it makes a good point. On a flat earth, taking three 90 degree turns at the north pole won't end you back at the north pole. On a globe, it will.

Any point on a globe can be a pole....so you can start anywhere.

That is my point. The scriptures imply a flat earth because that is how each person experiences it.
A person in the US and one in China "look to the heavens" reading the same passage in scripture,
at the same time, but each is looking a different direction.

I know how you feel. I felt I a dope until I realized many of the
illustrations found in scripture are from a spiritual perspective.
