Actually, most (and possibly not all) Eternal Security proponents only believe in a half gospel or a milk type only gospel (i.e. The gospel's initial portion that tells them to believe in His death and resurrection - 1 Corinthians 15:1-4). This is the milk of the Word that the Corinthians could only accept. It was the only message they could bear because they were still yet carnal (See 1 Corinthians 3:2-3). It's why Paul said he came not to know anything among the Corinthians accept Jesus and Him crucified (1 Corinthians 2:2) because they would not be able to bear the second half of the message of the gospel (i.e. the meat of the Word).
The majority of Eternal Security proponents do not believe in the Bible's full or complete gospel (i.e. the meat of the Word). The second half or truth of the gospel is that Christ died so as to redeem us from all iniquity and so as to live holy and be zealous of good works.
Hebrews 5:9
"And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, NKJV
Ephesians 5:25-27
25 “even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”
Titus 2:14
“Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”
Romans 1:16-17 says,
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith." NKJV
What is this faith look like?
James 2:17

“shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.”
Hebrews 9:14

Life itself testifies against you. No man has ever achieved what you are espousing since the Cross of Christ. Name the sinless men since Christ's resurrection. If your doctrine is true, we should have a list of men that have reached perfection, men who sin not.
Christ is the way, the truth, the life. He provides the covering, it is His righteousness that is imputed towards us. We cleave unto Christ!

I already addressed these verses and showed you that you are in error with your interpretation on them.

But read John 14:6 together with Matthew 16:24 and slowly think about these two verses and how they are related together.
John 14:6 says,
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Matthew 16:24
"If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."
Do you get it?
Jesus is the way the truth and the life and yet we are told that if we want to come after Him (who is the truth and the life) we are told by Jesus to deny ourselves, and to take up our cross, and to follow Him.
That is the meat part of the gospel or the second half of the complete gospel that you do not want to hear.

Actually Jim Jones is closer to the belief in Eternal Security because he taught that you can sin (commit suicide) and still be saved. Today, various believers have already committed suicide with the thinking they are saved because of Eternal Security.

Can you imagine a child raised by parents who threw them out of the house everytine they broke one of the rules. And they wouldn't be allowed back in until they earnestly repented?
Or a child who was told if they weren't dead to breaking the rules, in respect of never breaking them they would be thrown out of the house?

No. I am not a part of any denominational affiliation or name or group. I believe in the Trinity (i.e. the Lord our God is one God who exists as three distinct persons). Jesus who is God (Second person of the Godhead or Trinity) came down into the flesh and blood body of a man.
I believe the Bible alone is our sole authority. No man made traditions or church or extra book should be added to the Bible.
You said:
1 John 3:8 is talking in the present tense.
Believers are forgiven of past sins if they confess them.
But a true believer will be characterized by a life of holiness and good works.
See 1 John 1:6-7 and then compare it with 1 John 2:3-6.

True children are chastened by God to repent of their sins. God will correct the true child of God and not the bastard son because the bastard son does not want to be corrected.
