No I'm not wrong.Sorry you are wrong, friend.
Yes, Jesus is the END of the law of sin and death, but Jesus is the BEGINNING of the law of the Spirit of life in Christ.

The law is holy, righteous and good.Law, in itself, is not a dirty word.
No I'm not wrong.
But now a righteousness APART from law has been made known.........You are throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
But now a righteousness APART from law has been made known.........
Rom3:21
I wish you could understand Pauls message.
Right, but Paul was still talking about the Ten Commandments and the law of Moses. That is only chapter 3 into his sermon on the Old Law/Covenant.
John 15:10 refers to two sets of laws. "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love."
The laws of Jesus are revealed again by John in his epistle. 23 And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
Paul in no way tells us not to keep the law of the Spirit of life in Christ, just because we are not under the law of sin and death, the Ten Commandments and the law of Moses.
Paul said:
But now a righteousness APART from law has been made known. He didn't say apart from some law, but APART FROM law
No I'm not, im talking about the way to have victory over sin. There you going throwing the baby out with the bathwater again.
Here's the deal. There you going throwing the baby out with the bathwater again.
The law of the Spirit is the fruits of the Spirit.
If you say the law if the Spirit of life us not committing adultery, not coveting,
No I'm not, im talking about the way to have victory over sin.
You simply cannot understand how removing a law of righteousness is not a licence to sin.
I sympathise. I know your mindset. I was raised in the type of churches you attend. I grew up surrounded by people with that same mindset
Your belief in reality is. You are saved as long as you don't covet, commit adultery, lie, steal etc.It is two-fold. It also keeps us from the lust of the flesh.
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
Here's the deal.
You have to be willing to surrender your life to Christ. He is your Lord and master. NO ONE who has surrendered their life to Christ can possibly view the removal of a law of righteousness as a licence to sin. It cannot happen. You have chosen the one you want to obey. The law is in your heart, you have been born again of the Holy Spirit.
Those who are not willing to surrender their lives to Christ cannot accept or understand Pauls message.
For I repeat. The deal is you surrender your life to Christ, you are not under a law of righteousness. No licence to sin!!
Your belief in reality is. You are saved as long as you don't covet, commit adultery, lie, steal etc.
It may sound great to you, but it is the law of sin and death, in reality
As I say, I know your mindset. Saved by grace through faith, kept by observing the law. It doesn't matter how you word it, that is your belief.I agree, but Paul knew that what he said COULD be interpreted that way so he clarified, twice!
Romans 6
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
15 What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! 16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?
Spurgeon( who you have volumes of his sermons) said. If you hate your sin you are saved( or words to that effect)No, as you said, you wouldn't want to anyway if you follow Jesus.
Sin is not the most important issue. The most important issue is. Are you willing to surrender your life to Christ?
If you are you don't want your sin. And you certainly cannot seek a licence to sin. therefore you do not need a law of righteousness to encourage you not to sin
Spurgeon( who you have volumes of his sermons) said. If you hate your sin you are saved( or words to that effect)
As I say, I know your mindset. Saved by grace through faith, kept by observing the law. It doesn't matter how you word it, that is your belief.
