The Divine Constitution

Heavenly Law



Deu 33:4

Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.



A law is an operating principal. It is a premise by which we operate, move, the regulations in which we have existence. The law is a rigid set of principals which outline right conduct. And so here we see that there is a line, a precept, a boundary to our person established. Laws are established and enforced by decree. Laws are fulfilled by decree. Laws are enacted by decree. Laws are executed by decree. Gravity has always been present, but its mathematical expression makes it a tangible, impacting reality. A decree is a word spoken with authority, a manifestation of an underlying law. A Law and a decree are one and the same yet separate: they operate on the same principal and substance of authority, yet fill different purposes in the realm of authority. The Law which is spoken of in the bible comes in variegated measure and revelation. These are all advancing consecutive revealings of a supreme and unchanging Law. There is a system of rule which is operating above all the current understanding of Divine Law, all that which has been revealed hitherto. This Law, the Heavenly Constitution has always filled these imperfect representations of the true. These progressive revelations are in no way a contradiction to the supreme Law, but are rather subsequent developments in man of the Eternal Law. This Law was manifested for the first time, yea, established when most things began; In the Beginning. “Let there be Light.” A Rule, a system, a Divine Order was established.



Mark 4:28

For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.



The first dispensation of understanding was according to the fallen man, and gave access to the Lord of HOSTS by works and blood. The Inheritance was there, although impossible to access, the Way to it held captive by a series of ritualistic and lower emblems of Heavenly truth. Moses had a great and purpose-filled unveiling of the first of three revelations of the Purposes of God in man. He touched mighty things, being shown the blood legality of Israel’s covenant with God, seeing God in a “blade” measure (Mk 4:28).



Hebrew 9:7

But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people.



The Son, the Person of Glory, came down to reveal another sector of the Heavenly constitution. Through His sacrifice and blood, through faith in the Living Word, we have come upon the “ear” dispensation of Divine Law. Faith fulfills the need for works, having elevated us from flesh into Spirit. This facet of the Divine Law is wonderful, and allows the access of the firstfruits of our inheritance as Israel; we stand in the Law now Right, able to rule and reign with Him.



Romans 8:4

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:23

And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit…



Heb 6:5

And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,



The Law, Divine and True was once our enemy, separating us from God and His River and Power (Reign by Spirit), but now become our Justification and Glory through His Son. We have been lifted out of the Mosaic Law of Blood, and into the Law of Life.



Romans 8:2

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.



The Law, the operating principals of the Universe and the structure which holds the heavenly bodies suspended in space is now ours. Praise God, it is ours! The River is ours, we need only come to Him and drink, and out of us shall flow the Living Water!!

Jer 31:30

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.



Eph 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.



Through Christ Jesus, we have access to work and have our being according to this Law. You shall be endued with Power from on High. The key to this power promised is only through God given revelation according to the three administrative gifts of His Spirit, Wisdom, Knowledge, and Faith.



Heb 11:2

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.



Now we have come to the understanding of the Divine Law, the supreme operation of the Divine known as the WORD OF GOD. Peter, stepping out of the boat stood on the letter “C”. He then stepped onto the letter “O,” and then onto “M” and “E.” “COME” says the Word, and so shall it be. It is this Word which operates on many levels, many sectors of implication.

1 Cor 12:5-7

And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.



We see here that there is a three faceted gem to the working of the gifts of the Spirit. The Word of God is no different, indeed, the Spirit is the Word of God. The Law, Divine and True, as an Administrative and Structural Power was shown forth in the Beginning, as the Order was established. The Word, as a Living and Operating Force was and is performing the Will of God to this very moment, healing, reconciling, creating. Finally, the sons, speaking the decrees of prophecy, are showing forth and effecting the Word, Manifesting the Diving Law as a precept of existence, and a force of power. In fact, the precepts and forces of the Word fill the words of the prophet to the very brim and over.



Acts 17:28

For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.



We are to all operate according to this Word. May every prayer that we lift up be a Word directly from His heart and outstretched arm! We will begin to move in the Power of God, begin to understand our inheritance as saints of God, as we begin to understand this indwelling Law, this unmoving Divine Constitution by which the universe is founded. Oh, the Word is in thee!



I believe we have yet another revelation of the supreme Constitution coming, this Law which is being shown forth. It is coming, yea, it is near, “the full corn in the ear”. But that is for another day, a great and terrible day, and is not yet come. But for now, we can only see in part, only declare that Word in part, because we cannot yet see what is happening on the other side of this dark glass which separates us from our Dayspring; The Word of God.
