It wasn't a comparison. It was a question.
Christians are being singled out on this site because that's what this site is about. If you don't want to be seen as going after Christians, then maybe going to a different site would help.
Nice to know. You will now be lumped in with other theists so you don't feel picked on.
Again, why do you as a theist support the morality of forcing women to wear burqas?
Again, it's a Christian forum. Not many Christians require women to wear a burqa.
It is a theist forum, and theists are the ones forcing women to wear burqas.

Well, then don't criticize us for not bringing up christianity specifically. Which by the way, there are Christian denominations that have the women wear burkas
How do you reconcile when the scientific part of you is in conflict with the spiritual side?
I would imagine, you have one side, that tends to dominate when you have internal conflict.
Did you even read what he was responding to?
The guy that he responded to was saying that the motive behind something makes it right/wrong. So the guy that asked a ridiculous question to prove him wrong. He brought up a valid point and should be given an intelligent response.
The question wasn't serious, it was the same kind of legalistic, insincere quibbling that Jesus had to endure. And that is a great example of my point.
Yep, major flaws in thinking aren't serious. Murdering is okay, as long as my intentions are good.
Colter said:It would be helpful if you could grow up a little or don't participate in the discussion Chany. You've created your own screwed up example, an insincere question which is an obvious distortion of the spirit of the statement "the morality of any act is determined by an individual's motives". Creating some absurd example just to disprove the statement based on a technicality is silly.

After Lucifer lost faith and embarked upon his orgy of darkness and death, taking personalities down with him both in the celestial world and the worlds of time and space, he stated his manifesto. "There was war in heaven", an ideological war. While Lucifer has been gone for 2,000 years, his meme still persists unbeknownst to his fellow Atheist:
" The reality of the Universal Father. Lucifer charged that the Universal Father did not really exist, that physical gravity and space-energy were inherent in the universe, and that the Father was a myth invented by the Paradise Sons to enable them to maintain the rule of the universes in the Fathers name. He denied that personality was a gift of the Universal Father. He even intimated that the finaliters were in collusion with the Paradise Sons to foist fraud upon all creation since they never brought back a very clear-cut idea of the Fathers actual personality as it is discernible on Paradise. He traded on reverence as ignorance. The charge was sweeping, terrible, and blasphemous. It was this veiled attack upon the finaliters that no doubt influenced the ascendant citizens then on Jerusem to stand firm and remain steadfast in resistance to all the rebels proposals.UB 1955
Lucifer was an atheist?
Yes, in the Urantia revelation-explanation, Lucifer fell in love with his own thinking. While he was a created being, long serving in the celestial world, he was still a faith son of the unseen Father as are many other orders of celestial beings. The creator Sons were visible to him and ruled over him, but not God the Father, the first source and center was still a mater of faith trust in the teaching of the creator Sons.
The story of a devil, or Satan or Lucifer etc. never made any sense to me until I learned about this teaching. There were still more questions that I struggled with, the greatest being why wasn't he stopped before so many were mislead and so much damage done? Its taken a while but I'm satisfied with the explanation.
So Lucy does not think god exists? From what I understand there is supposed to be (or it has already happened, depending on who you ask) a spiritual war between the two. How can you fight a war with an imaginary enemy?
A good and obvious question. Lucifer also lived by faith like we do. While he knew his creator Paradise brother Christ Michael, aka Jesus of Nazareth, the unseen Father is still a matter of faith for may in the celestial world.
Lucifer was in an ideological battle against God the Son over power and authority. Lucifer's chief claim was that the Universal Father didn't really exist.
