Interesting point. I've chatted with my sister about it a bit, she's starting the MA in Psychology program next fall.
What are your thoughts on the frequency a psychiatrist/therapist resorts to prescribing medication? Do you think it's overdone, underdone or maybe par for the course?

I think all of the mental health and medical field looks for the drugs to use very quickly. That said, it is hard to criticize individual decisions without knowing the case. And I wouldn't know how many other things were tried like reframing. Sometimes the patient is so mired into their ..... bad, for lack of a better word... thinking, that they refuse to leave it and undermine any other therapeutic efforts.
