I dunno - that really depends.

I often times wonder why I continue to post here. I can feel sickened and depressed by much of what I read here, and I can also feel elated by many of the responses to what makes me feel badly. This place is my main forums outlet. And because of that when I peruse the headlines and stories I come up with the thought "I just HAVE to share this!" I know I can rile up a bunch of people, and I know I can let some information out to those to who it does some good.

Sounds like you're having fun.

So I continue on, sometimes hot, sometimes cold. Am I alone in feeling this way?

In the last 6 weeks, I got married, bought a house, finished one work project and have rolled onto another that's way behind, so I've been a bit too busy to come on here as much as I used to. The times I do visit, I find that I haven't missed much. The discussions haven't progressed at all. There's nothing new or interesting; it's just the same old same old.

No, though I don't see myself coming around as much anymore. I'm finding other things more rewarding, like spending all day shopping for a new car now that my last one is totally dead.

I took a brief hiatus. I was asked to come out of retirement for an Illuminati mission. I put together a special ops force to try to infiltrate the Trump brain trust. It was a miserable failure. The team became entangled in the weave and had to withdraw under withering chemical attack. Fortunately, casualties were light.

I just really like that word. I've been called many things. I've been told that I'm a homosexual (even though I'm not). I've been called anti-straight, even though I am straight. I've been called godless, and a heathen. I've been told that my heart is full of hate (because I'm godless).

I've never been called a deviant, which is strange because I am a deviant. I'm perfectly satisfied with my life right now, and religion has nothing to do with it.

All of you are also deviants. You don't toe the line of what religious conservatives think as "good," which begins at homophobia, continues at dismissing the poor as lazy, and ends at supporting Israel as part of some inane "prophecy" so that the pleasantries of Armageddon can get around to happening.

And now I'm holding forth. Sorry about that.
