The Tyre prophecy was fulfilled and stands to this day.
Nope, you at best do not understand the prophecy. Nebuchadnezzar failed at.his attempt. The Bible even admits it. The prophecy was about the King of Tyre and Nebuchadnezzar.

The prophecy declared that "many nations will come up against thee, like the waves of the sea" ; one after another, until Tyre was destroyed. There were six major sieges of Tyre, ending in it's destruction by Alexander in 332 B.C.

Thats why it failed, it still stood, the bible even acknowledged it didn't fall.

The bible doesn't record the fulfillment of all prophecy contained within it (see Genesis 49). Fortunately for my argument secular history records the destruction of Tyre by Alexander the Great in 332 B.C.

The Tyre prophecy was not about Alexander the Great. You should look up the history of Tyre. It was regularly attacked both before and after Nebuchadnezzar. Sometimes it won, sometimes it lost. The prophecy was about Nebby, not Alex. Nebby was a "king of kings" in the Old Testament He was the "many kings" that was to attack Tyre. He failed.

The problem with extending a prophecy to far is that one degrades all prophecy. Sooner or later Tyre was sure to fall. It had quite a period without falling and that did end with Alex, but he was outside the original prophecy. You are in effect calling me a biblical prophet when I predict that "You will see a red car" the next time that you go out.

I have seen Christians rightfully deny the failed prophecies of other religions when they do not meet their clear goal. Yet many of those cannot do the same when the Bible is involved.

Lots of clarification if you look for it. Check out he and they in this link regarding Nebuchadnezzar.

Sorry, I don't read sources that are essentially "liars for Jesus". Make your own claims if you wish to. At least you might have the excuse of no knowing better.

Your argument doesn't have the biblical support that you claim.

Why do you even read the bible?

Spock would say that your Star Trek analogy is illogical.

The people of Sumer and Babylon were building sailboats long before Noah's flood.

What on earth has satan to do with science?
The science that glorifies man through lies, example man on the moon this lie glorifies man and basically, except for a few, the whole world was taken in by this lie.

That would be offensive if it wasn't so amusing. I think I'll trawl through some of your other posts on the forum, looking for similar gems. Thanks for the smile.

What on earth has satan to do with science?

Satan taught Eve the scientific method in the garden, i.e. diligently observe, learn by experience (rather than by revelation).

Satan created science in the garden.

Hahahaha.. Thousands of years ago snake cults proliferated in Egypt, Mesopotamia, the Levant, Arabia and the Indus Valley. The snake was a symbol of wisdom, fertility, and rebirth.

I think you have a case of dueling religions casting the snake as Satan.. I don't think Jews do that.. and Genesis was their scripture.

In Numbers 21:4-9, Moses makes a bronze serpent on a stick to heal the Hebrews' snake bites, as per God's instructions. They don't worship it, but they are to look at it in order to live.

Curious bit of a story.

I edited that post a bit to reflect one of the Hebrew meanings of serpent.

On what grounds? I used the same reasoning that you did in post 806. If my argument is illogical, then so is yours.

Star Trek refers to events that have happened or to places that already exist. By contrast, the bible refers to things ahead of its time, before they happened. The approach is poles apart., the different is huge, beyond comparison.

For example: Paris has been here for centuries. In "future," ST “made” its headquarters in San Francisco, which is already here. In 1976, NASA honors ST by naming the spacecraft “Enterprise” – I remember reading about this in mid 90s when TNG was popular in North America , when I was in Canada. However, ST did not predict Enterprise, so why do you even mentioned that ST even reference itself.

The Bible refers to things ahead of its time, way way before they happened, hundreds and thousands of years ahead. It says the earth is round and suspends upon nothing way before science did. I hear critics who say that say the Bible is being figurative. However, figurative or literal, it has made many correct predictions – and this frequency of correctness does matter. And besides prophecies, there are also more historical and archaeological evidences that support the bible.
