Let me guess: YAHWEH?
I could try to explain it, but I'd rather let an authority. Try this link;
Respectfully,

Well before you get too disturbed, what do I mean by it, in your opinion?Your slogan "Science can take a hike", kinda disturbs me. Why are you using a computer? Science can take a hike then and all the technology that came along with it.
You made a reasoned and logical conclusion that affects the rest of your eternity at 13 or 14? If I still believed what I believed when I was 13 or 14 I would cringe at what I might be like today.
Well before you get too disturbed, what do I mean by it, in your opinion?
Let's make it multiple choice:
- Mother Nature steps down when God performs a miracle, thus you can't explain Biblical phenomena with conventional science.
- Science is a figment of our imagination, and the technology we use is straight out of Maya.
- Scientists need to lose weight.
But it really isn't more than a "what if" excercise. Your entire post was a series of scenarios you concocted and your assumptions about how scientists would react. You haven't demonstrated anything, you've just produced a wall of text in which you assert without any supporting examples what you think would happen in various hypothetical scenarios.
If you could provide some examples of scientists coming up with one lineage and then with equal facility coming up with the exact opposite of that lineage, then you would have demonstrated your point. Currently you've just rehashed your old argument that evolutionary theory would just accommodate anything.
I challenge you to provide any actual evidence for your hypotheticals.
I'm happy with who I am today. And I'm not going to burn in hell either, because there isn't one. How about since I'm a non-believer I give you my address and you can stone me to death? In the bible it says it's alright. I'll get a notarized document saying you were granted permission to execute me, freeing you of charges for my death, and that you are protected by your right to practice your religion. And that I accepted these terms of sound mind.
4. None of the above.
Oh how quickly we pounce on the persecuted. Grace and peace to you...Your "authority" is a felonious charlatan.
This is about the most bizarre post I've read here.Perhaps considering this post you don't understand Christianity, in fact, I bet on it.
What's with the Kent Hovind fan club coming out of the woodwork lately?
Seriously, OD, do you know anyone who claims they weren't a "Christian" at one time?
I'll bet if they post on the Muslim servers, they'd be saying how they were Muslims once, read the Koran 3 - 5 times, had questions their Mufti couldn't answer, and are now "free as a bird."
Oh how quickly we pounce on the persecuted. Grace and peace to you...
Wrong. For example, if a fossil pattern had revealed higher mammals in the same rock layers as dinosaurs, there is no doubt, NONE, that evolutionists would simply write a narrative around the idea that environmental pressures selected for dinosaurian and mammalian body plans at roughly the same time. This is obvious. The basic concept of Evolution makes no prediction about which animal group between the two would "evolve" first. It is nothing but an ad-hoc "selection did it" response to what is found in the rock layers.
Furthermore, we do know for a fact from modern handling of the theory that fossilized "transitional" anatomy can be OUT OF SEQUENCE and still be accommodated by claiming the primitive traits did not fossilize until after the more advanced traits.
In this sense, there are countless substantially different fossil record patterns that could have potentially been accommodated into an emerging theory of evolution. This is not my opinion, this is simple logic that can not be hand-waved away.
Kent teaches from the bible as God's truth, infallible, perfectly preserved. It's all about whether you understand that God is capable of getting the true word to us today.
Since God's words are as truly inspired, then why doubt their accuracy? If God says that creation took 6 days, then it took 6 days. Romans 3:4 "God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged."
When scripture is 'rightly divided', we see the difference between Law and Grace, prophecy and mystery.
