So then you're saying that the following events happen prior to the millennial kingdom.

#1. God and Christ begin their eternal reign.
Revelation 11:13
The kingdom of the world has become
the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah,
and he will reign for ever and ever.

#2. The dead are judged.
Revelation 11:18
The time has come for judging the dead

#3. The redemptive work of God is completed.
Revelation 16:17
It is done
"Will reign" means just because the kingdom's of the earth have become .His doesn't mean the Great Tribulation is over.,At the 7th Trumpet, we are changed (redeemed, given new bodies), the dead are judged we receive rewards _ but the 7 Bowls of WRATH are then released ... He's not quite finished with the GT, nor is He sitting on His throne in Jerusalem yet.

2 Peter 3 (NIV)
7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment
and destruction of the ungodly....
10 But "the day of the LORD" will come like a thief.
The heavens (atmosphere?) will disappear with a roar; the (solid) elements will be destroyed by fire,
and the (PLANET) earth and everything done in it (works) will be laid bare.
13 But in keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a New heaven and a New earth,
(- also see New Jerusalem- SEE OT below)
where (only) righteousness dwells.

Isaiah 65:17[ New Heavens and a New Earth ]
“See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.

Revelation 21:1[ A New Heaven and a New Earth ]
Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”
for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.

2 Peter 3 (NIV)
7 By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment
and destruction of the ungodly....
10 But "the day of the LORD" will come like a thief.

1Th 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
1Th 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
(The word "But" connects chapter 5 to the event at the end of chapter 4. The words "we" and "sleep" in 1 Thessalonians 5:10 also connect chapter 5 to chapter 4.)

Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
(This passage reveals the timing and a location of the event.)

Therefore the timing of 2 Peter 3:10-13 is connected to 1 Thessalonians chapters 4 and 5 and Revelation 16:15-16.
They are all related to the Second Coming of Christ.

2 Peter 3 destruction of the earth and its works by fire ushers in The new earth and the new heavens and the new Jerusalem of Revelation 21.

It follows the millennium reign of Christ on earth.
