I'm curious. Does anyone here enjoy The Dashboard Confessional? I'm quite a fan myself and I'd like to know what others think of them.

What about Chris' former band "Further Seems Forever?" I've heard a bit of their work. They sound a lot like dashboard, but with more spiritual lyrics and electric guitars.

Ive heared alot about them. Really good things. Ive only really heared one song byt hem and I cant remember teh name, but I didnt really enjoy them
Maybe you guys can suggest some of their best songs for me

i will definitely disagree with that
the only thing that sounds remotely similar is the vocals...for obvious reasons

i respect chris carraba for the fact that he is doing well with what he has...but he is like 26 or 27 years old...shouldnt he grow up and stop whining maybe a little

there's an interesting review on bluephi115's website, about chris.

anyways, who cares what kind of music he makes. whether people whine, or write love songs...it's good. besides, his "whining" reaches out to a lot of people. not me personally, but i think it's good that he writes what he does.

I only really enjoy the first album...Swiss Army Romance, when it was just Chris and an acoustic. Now that they've added the rest of the band, I don't enjoy it quite as much.
