Hi. I'm Ringo84. I joined last week but couldn't post because I went on vacation. I'm a liberal Baptist Christian, just in case anyone might be wondering.
As for the Da Vinci Code, I don't think it's as big a deal as people hav made it. I actually saw the movie with my Sunday school class. I didn't agree with what I saw, but that's OK. It's not like someone was standing outside the theater and roughing us up if we didn't agree with every part of the movie.
And I don't think that questioning your faith is bad. In fact, I think that doubt and questioning can strengthen faith. If the Da Vinci Code makes people think about theological issues and ask questions, that's a positive.
