What are the core products of the D20 system? I assume it's the D&D Player's Handbook and Dungeon Master's Guide, but is that right? I've been playing 1st ed D&D, so I really haven't been paying attention to 3rd edition or 3.5.

Where and how do I get the experience tables? Is there any way I can get them legally and free, without having to get the PH and DM?Kelly said:Yep,
The PHB, DMG and the Monster Manual are all considered Core books for D&D/d20.
You can find almost all of the material, minus fluff text, online for free at Wizard's of the Coast's website, under d20 system. It's called the SRD (System Reference Document). It's the free part that companies can use to create their own d20 approved products. It's missing the experience table and experience reward table, the first of which is found in the PHB, the second of which is foundin the DMG.

Nope, not close to me. All the gaming material I usually get is off the net, or at my local Game Parlor.
