I think that has been shown a number of times with the information in this thread.
So far I've only seen unspecified complaints.
As a counter though, can you find any Truth in the show and its false Jesus?
I haven't seen it outside of brief bits. That's why I'm asking for specific heresy and blasphemy presented in it. If it's as strong and blatant as some make it out to be, they should be easy to point out.

Can you point out anything else objectionable in the 38 episodes that have aired?
I am sure you can Google it, or find it on YouTube.
In fact, you should see the bad side of this show.
Why? Well, one will be more honest with themselves about the truth of things rather than living in a dream world on such matters.

The problem is that there are many who say they understand the Bible better because of the Chosen.

Here is a person who teaches with the Chosen.

This website says you can reach the world with the authentic Jesus with the Chosen TV series.

So, just because there are certain interest groups who form their own "fan clubs" and articulate their own enjoyment of this t.v. series, that it supposed to automatically mean ALL people, even those like myself who study Hermeneutics, Biblical Exegesis, Historiography, Biblical Language and so on and so forth, are doing exactly the same thing and for the same reasons?

All these articles show is that there is apparently a thirst among a number of people to know that Jesus isn't simply the LORD OF CONDEMNATION AND DAMNATION. Maybe they want a new hope of seeing and understanding Jesus as He is: as the Alpha and Omega---The Way, The Truth and the Life, the Messiah, the Son of God, the Perfect Representation of God's Love!

I could be wrong, but all that needs to happen when people watch The Chosen, or any theatrical media representing New Testament events and persons, is to suggest to them that they read or hear and better understand the New Testament directly ... as well.

Thank God you’re not god right? Because even God gave us free will to enjoy chocolate ice cream while you want everyone to like vanilla.
Where does it say in the Bible that ice cream is sinful?

Yep - this is not a problem at all.....
What annoys me also (I have The Chosen on facebook) is when someone criticizes the show on facebook, instead of normal response, they always mock them. Sometimes the criticism is stupid, but they should know better than mocking people.

I decided not to continue to watch the show. There is too much controversary around the show, but mainly because there are things in the show that are not in the Scripture, but because of the show I think they are...which is dangerous and it is better not to continue the show.

One thing I do know, is the effect it is having on people, believers and non-believers by just reading the reviews on social media, they read similar to post #3.
Can you point out what heresy and blasphemy that's been presented in the show?

I'm asking you though to see if you actually really know anything about it.
Yeah, I notice a lot of extremely problematic things by checking out an article that reviewed it.

Season 1:

  • Episode 8: Nicodemus says God can and must be known outside of the Scriptures. This is a direct attack on the sufficiency of Scripture. It says people who only trust the Scriptures are legalistic and Pharisaical. Jesus also goes to a Samaritan village and meets a woman at a well. This encounter depicts Jesus as someone with no authority as He says “no” to the Samaritan woman’s accusation that he came to preach to her.
Season 2:

  • Episode 2: Jesus calls Nathaniel. Before this, Nathaniel was drunk and depressed because a building project did not go well. This depiction of Jesus does not call Nathaniel to repentance for his drunkenness.
  • Episode 5 Jesus practices his sermon on the Mount and messes it up. This episode minimizes the fact Jesus relied on hearing the words from His Father when preaching and teaching.
  • Episode 6: Jesus sends Peter and Matthew to find Mary Magdalene after the drinking binge. When Mary is brought back to the camp, she is accompanied by his mother. Jesus does not call her to repentance. This goes against Jesus’s teachings on repentance, Jesus being the shepherd of his followers, and it points again to Mary being the co-redemptrix.
  • Episode 8: Jesus needs help from Matthew for the Sermon on the Mount. Really? Did the creators ever read John 12:49 before?

I could keep going, but this should suffice of the unbiblical and bad things within the show.

I was surprised to see it's been on since 2017. I thought it was a lot newer than that.

The problem is that there are many who say they understand the Bible better because of the Chosen.

Oh, oh, oh my gosh! THAT's aweful! This little girl says that by watching The Chosen, it has helped her to understand the Bible and she feels like she can "trust Jesus more."

Oh my! We can't have THAT!
Here is a person who teaches with the Chosen.

Ok. So a Mormon has a shared interest in watching The Chosen. I can't imagine why that would be the case. Jesus is only for those who have already acquired correct doctrine. Doesn't he know that he has no right to be interested too?

How dastardly!!! We all know that no movies or T.V. series, or Christian books or other assorted Christian type items or messages, especially those depicting Jesus, should have professional marketing and distribution ... they should all stand or fall on their own.

Right, and you wouldn’t get upset if they depicted your grandma or loved one on a TV series in a way that is totally false and sinful.
It’s still a show! No harm, right? Yeah, well, unless you don’t care about your family in how they are portrayed.

Let me just cut to the chase here. What about cartoon shows that depict sex. It’s just fantasy. No actors are actually having sex. Yet, the sin of immoral sex is being promoted and can lead people into lust.
Yeah, but somebody can cry, “It still a show!“

Right, okay. *eyes rolling*

You know I have talked with other Christians on this forum who believe sex filled videos is not a sin.
Yet, most Christians know they are self deceived. But when it comes to their favorite TV shows or movies that promotes other sins?
Yeah, all bets are off right? The hypocrisy.

For goodness sake! Its just a 'drama'. I bet even Jesus watches it!

A drama that some folks get really melodramatic over.

While this world is sinful, God’s people are not to be sinful.

Ephesians 4:26 (KJV)
”Be ye angry, and sin not:…“

1 Peter 1:15-16 (NKJV)
15 “but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct,
16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”

2 Corinthians 7:1 (KJV)
”…let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.”

Hebrews 12:14 (KJV)
”Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:”
Wait wait, did you just say you're sinless? Hahaha. No wonder you like things in your bubble only.
