Re: Numbers 30
Now i see why we gotta be careful with vows......they're the same as "promises" and God takes them super seriously. That's a sobering thought.

This one's a little confusing....the children of Gad and of Reuben do not want to go over into the land which the Lord had given them....i'm not sure if this is a dis-trust of the Lord or a willfulness on their part, or if this tests the patience of the Lord. I'm wondering if this is going to deprive them of the blessings the Lord intended for them....
Interesting chapter.
Beautiful testimony, thank you for sharing it.
The commentary really does clarify what "settling for good enough" is....thank you for posting the link.
my testimony is a long one...lots of wrestling and "chapters" of many kinds....i was an absolute mess in more ways than i can count....i'll post it maybe if i can get my thoughts together....
yes, the commentaries by David Guzik are edifying and clarify much. Thank you.
I needed more insight into this chapter so I read this commentary.; I found it clarified things for me...
Numbers 33 - David Guzik Commentary on the Bible
This is an excellent commentary, especially the detail given on why the Caananites needed to be driven out totally.
