Psalm 132 is a beautiful testifying of David, who loved his Lord, dearly, and it is also a testifying from God of how He loved David as well, and that David would be blessed and triumph over his many enemies.

Precious.

Reminds me of this verse:

 Psalm 136 is admonitions to give thanks to our Great God, Who has and does, GREAT things and extends His inexplicable grace and mercy on us, His created ones. He IS our Great CREATOR.

May we learn to love even moreso, for in learning to love Him as much as we ever can, there is, more visibly, His precious heart for us made manifest to us.

How precious is THAT??!!

In Psalm 137, there is the tragedy and heartbreak of being captive and under the domination of enemies, who forced the captives to even sing precious songs just for their God, for "entertainment" for their enemies.

How utterly sorrowful and soul-bludgeoning is that?

Tragic.

 Psalm 140 is right to the point of how we are to take ALL things to our God, ESPECIALLY when the enemy is conspiring and surrounding one on all sides and are literally blood-thirsty, so to speak for our demise, and conspiring for our downfall and mocking God, as if God is nowhere to be found.

David knew EXACTLY WHO to go to in his direst moments and crucial needs at those most discouraging and urgent times of desperation. It is the same for other great men of the Bible, such as Jabez, and King Jehoshaphat, and Jacob (and many others.)

This seeking God in our direst of times, is very PRECIOUS to God, for in seeking HIM, we are acknowledging that He IS our only HOPE, and that we TRUST in HIM as our ONLY HOPE.

Precious.

In Psalm 143 the writer is in dire straits and is crying out to God, their ONLY Refuge and Hiding Place, and the ONLY ONE Who HEARS them. And as it is written in verse 1, it is a prayer, just like ALL of Psalms are.

Every single one of them.

Precious.

 Psalm 148.

This picture and verse is delightful. This guy is sitting at the piano on the highest reaches of earth he could find, to play exclusively for his God. Reminds me of David, who could not contain himself, but broke out in "dancing before the Lord" and despite the audience who witnessed it, David was dancing before his Lord only.

Precious.
