Here, in Proverbs 22, we are reminded once again, be generous to those without, who are hungry, and destitute, and without a place to lay their head. This blesses God's heart.

This verse, in Proverbs 23, stood out for me:

Here in Proverbs 24 is a reminder that God has our backs.

How precious is THAT??!!

This verse stood out for me in Proverbs 25:

This verse in Proverbs 26 is PROFOUND.

It is essentially saying that although there may be some who throw darts and curses at us, they will never "alight" on us. And that is because God protects us from wicked intentions, when there is no cause for them.

HE Himself is our Defender and Protector.

This verse stood out for me in Proverbs 27.

This verse stood out for me in Proverbs 28:

In Proverbs 29, this verse stood out.

It is profound, in that, it is very dear to God's heart.

This verse stood out for me in Proverbs 30.

Proverbs 31 is profoundly descriptive of a Godly woman, described by God Himself. Her traits and character that God Himself put there, are steeped in His grace and strength, and wisdom, discernment, compassion, and kindness.

Ecclesiastes 1:

So now we begin the book of Ecclesiastes, and admittedly one of the books that i have not delved into nor tried to, at length hahaaaa

But here, is an opportunity to do so, and i welcome it, cuz i've been NEEDING to do this.

So, here goes:

Now look at verse one:

"The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem."

This would be Solomon, right? Yet who knew that he was a "preacher"?

As i read further, this verse also stood out for me.....maybe what this means, is that with so much wisdom, it can be a burden, if not tempered with God's grace? For with God's grace comes peace and joy, amongst other things.

Ecclesiastes 2:

This is PROFOUND.

The wicked do not know that EVERYTHING that they are gathering for themselves, God is going to take away from them and give it to the meek and humble at His own appointed time.

Ironic, isn't it?

Ecclesiastes 3:

God's timing is inexplicable.....In His perfect timing, beauty emerges from what may appear to be as dry and bereft of life and beauty as an arid desert.

He is the God of LIFE, and BEAUTY, and GLORY.

Delightful.

Ecclesiastes 4:

This is right down to earth and practical, isn't it.

God is very wise, isn't He?

Even Jesus said that He was sending out His disciples 2 by 2.

Yes, wise, indeed. He is a GOOD Shepherd.

Amen.

Ecclesiastes 5:

This verse is profound.

It indicates that a man who does honest labor, and works hard at it, has a clear conscience, and thus peace, and therefore can sleep peacefully at night, unfettered by worries and the unrest that comes from boredom.

What a blessing that is.

Ecclesiastes 6:

This verse exemplifies that the heart of man is never satisfied, even if he has abundance, it cannot fill him. Only God can fill man's deepest need. Anything else just leaves him wanting, although he be rich.

What a tragedy.

Ecclesiastes 7:

This verse is very wise. A good name IS a treasure and is a blessing, not only to the one who has thae good name, but to their children after them. It is a precious legacy to be passed on from generation to generation.

Ecclesiastes 8:

This verse stood out for me:

Ecclesiastes 9:

This verse is basically saying that we should do what we do fervently. Reminds me of the verse about doing all things as to the Lord, and putting our ALL into it.

Ecclesiastes 10:

This verse is basically saying that the graciousness of a wise man's words bring peace and blessings, while a foolish man's words lead to his own destruction.

How tragic.
