CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That's debateable Michie. Besides, you didn't SAY anything. You took something someone had already said, and everyone had already read ... and slapped a thumbs-up on it. What's so "It needed to be said"-worthy of that?
LOL. We move on. You re-bring up the subject, starting another tempest in a teacup. You also say you doubt we honestly were going to move on (supposedly we were going to resurrect the issue a few hours? days? weeks? months? later) and then say "Ok, lets drop it and move on." LOL. true. I cringe at some of the accidents! YIKES! And reading, I LOVE it. That is my favorite hobby. I LOVE Christian fiction...there are some pretty good books out there.I guess I'm not sure if it is okay for me to be posting here either.

Sometimes, though IRL the cars are going soooo fast that you can't figure out who's who until a yellow.
I'm a reader also .... of almost anything! Sadly I seem to be reading only at bedtime now so when I try to read during the day I get sleepy! LOL! What do you like reading?
