Also if you want to go quarterback to quarterback....what I have seen they are almost pretty well equal for their ages and experience...much can be said by yours coming from a bigger highschool than ours.
But ... as you and I know ... it doesn't matter what they've done in HS. The question is ... can they perform in Div. IA? Don't get me wrong ... McCoy is a good kid and a good QB ... but I've got to brag on Bradford.

Keep talking smack...I have heard this before but in the end Texas leads the series.
Very true. But that gap has gotten much closer since you hired Mack, and we hired Stoops.

Got it on DVR and hope to watch it this weekend. Good, eh?
K, it's football, and it's a true story (bio).... and I still liked it.

Since I hate both things with a passion & still liked it, it must have had something going for it (or I just lost sanity for 2 hours while I watched it) hahahha.

But seriously, I have to admit that I do like Mark Wahlberg as an actor so maybe I was a little partial with him in it? And it didn't have much of any sex or cussing or anything nasty in it either which I'd of expected it would of had.

I think you mite like it =D

LOL.

That's usually the spot reserved for my first alma mater, University at Buffalo.

Beat this:

Between 1974 and 1980, the St. Paul, Minn., school lost 50 games in a row. The Scots' worst season probably came in 1977, when MIAC rivals Concordia Moorhead -- yes, the Concordia Moorhead Cobbers -- beat them 97-6, scoring 14 touchdowns to set an NAIA record that still stands (Cobbers kicker Kurt Christenson scored 13 points on extra point kicks alone). Also in 1977, Macalester set a Division III record by allowing 59.1 points per game. The losing streak ended in dramatic fashion: Kicker Bob Kaye put a 23-yarder through the uprights with 11 seconds remaining in an early September 1980 contest as the Scots beat Mount Senario College.

CaDan,

Wow, very ... underwhelming. Yah, that's the word for it. I thought Buffalo was bad. I stand corrected, they didn't even make the worst 10. I guess somewhere along the road to futility, they stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

As for basketball ... a pox on Kelvin Sampson! If anyone here is an IU fan, they should know what I mean.

I R IU fan. And I agree with you. A pox on Kelvin Sampson. He ruins the good name that Bobby Knight built up.

You did open a can of worms....talk about parusing and not taking in what I am reading! LOL!!! TOO funny...I am not a football or basketball fan.
Let's go do something else and let these guys fantasize about their younger days! LOL!

Now, if you want to talk about Nascar or hockey I might join you, though I've not had time to follow them too much either! :D

Sorry, Karrie - don't have a male SO in my life so don't have to watch anymore! LOL.

Actually, as soon as the players I remember from my college days RETIRED of old age and injuries, I quit paying attention so that I wouldn't have to watch those young whippersnappers playing and know how old I am! LOL!
There are just as many ladies watching ball down here as men.

Football is King in Texas

There's nothing wrong with going over there and reading. It's when you bring it back here and start talking about specific people that it becomes a problem.

For example, I understand why Moriah posted what she did over there. Those talking about it here do not, so it constitutes gossip to talk about her and speculate. It's best to leave it over there or ask for clarification over there. Talking about a person without all the facts and when they can't even post in the thread is gossip.
Best post so far.
