Yes, I've seen some of what you're talking about, and experienced it myself.
Some people, who do not like us, are going to try the "Lets throw everything against the wall, and hopefully something will stick." approach to reporting. Unfortunately, my experiences as a moderator over the past 5 or 6 years tells me that after awhile, moderators will start to think ... all this smoke, obviously there has to be a fire around here somewhere. And in an attempt to shut up the obsessive reporters, they'll probably try to seek some sort of compromise, even if the things we say are true and accurate and within the scope of the rules.
So, what to do? Give them less things to report. Mentioning people by names, or commenting on specific actions (even those that are obviously stupid, ill-conceived or the like) only increases the chances that our posts will get reported. Which is why I advocate not talking about that place as a rule of thumb.
