This is from a story I wrote a while ago. I had posted a portion of it in Deeper Fellowship. Remember? The Knight In Thorn-Briar Forest. So this is the last chapter. I will post this in several installments. The name of the Bride in this story is called Jerusalem.

Heaven

The Possession of Love

In a stream of living light The King of kings came to Bride.
A rainbow mist swirled about His body encompassed by His blazing Heart. Seemingly, Jesus floated gracefully inside His own Heart. With in the circle of light, the Bridegroom beckoned to her.

Not a moment to soon or a moment to late did He lift the Bride to her chamber. What every bride dreamed of was there. Her Lord must have read her heart! White roses and ivy vines were everywhere and so many candles! Oh the fire in the hearth...How perfect! And the fragrances filling the room delighted her senses.

Bride had not noticed at first, on the walls hung beautiful tapestries of the Beloved's quest. She saw His Princely rights laid down, His donning of the beggar's cloak and His most difficult conquest, the cross. She also saw herself...The risen Christ rescuing her from the thorn briar forest, her journey through the wood with Him, the Golden Arrow and her death on the barren heights. There was a final tapestry: The Beloved clothed in royal robes of purple and red, edged with gold, and a majestic crown on His stately head. But there was another person in the embroidered work. A beautiful queen stood at His side, encircled by His arm. Never was there a queen so lovely!

Bride felt her shoulders embraced. The King spoke softly. "Long before you ever came to this place, even from eternity the tapestries were created. Always I carried this vision of you in My heart."

Bride gasped, "I am the beautiful Queen at your side?"

"You stand beside Me in this very place!"

If Jesus, in that moment did not catch her in His arms she would have fallen at his feet. He desired that she would know the freedom of eternal love but until she saw herself as the radiant Bride that she truly was, Jerusalem would always be ashamed in His presence. Only the perfect Bride could live there with Him, in Heaven.

Her face was so delicate between His hands. His mouth seemed to taste her devotion. He closed His eyes for a moment. Before she saw a tear she felt it in His sighing Heart. When He looked at her again she knew she never realized how large His eyes truly were. The lessons His eyes taught her were numerous. Now they were teaching her again. Bride allowed herself to be pulled into the dark center of His eyes where her own image swam beautifully.

"See what a work My grace has wrought in you! Love has nurtured and matured you and your members are with you. Oh there is no spot, no wrinkle and in virtues you are lacking none. Your wound is blossoming. What a sweet, sweet garden you are in my eyes. My task is complete."

"Oh profound Love! Why are You so generous? You grant me such liberty that I am lost in Your eternal gaze,"

"Then free yourself to praise what you love!"

"I am too bold!"

“There is boldness in love. Even the timid find strength when seized by holy fervor! And lifted by desire, you have climbed the highest heights, even unto the third Heaven.
Come, here is My Heart."

Jesus swiftly removed the mantle from His bosom. The radiance streaming from His glorified body hemmed her in on every side and arched upward forming two huge golden wings. They were outstretched, and spread like a covering over Bride. The wings trembled and moisture began to fall like tiny golden raindrops on the Bride. In this down pour of new anointing the unsurpassed beauty of Christ was exalted in the eyes of His Spouse.

"The gleam of winter snow does not compare
To the winsome Breast of Jesus fair
The rose, the violet, a thousand lilies blooming
pale against my Lover swooning!"

Next...'The pocession off Love."

Here's some more of the story...

The Procession of Love

Continued...

The words of jerusalem were hurried and joyful, "Jesus! Jesus! praise to Your pure gaze! Praise to Your comely face and Your gracious smile! Have You at last drawn me here so that I may know Your fullness of your Heart?"

"Truly beloved," answered the Bridegroom motioning to His side wound.

Golden drops rained down upon His bosom as well. His breath seemed magnified. A cry issued from His lips, almost a whimper. Jerusalem knew that whenever love greeted His side all of His members arose to bless the Bride. Jesus opened His wound that led directly to His heart. Amazingly it was filled to the brim with red roses!

"What has become of Your wound?" marveled the Soul, hardly able to contain her joy!

"These roses are your love gifts to Me. Many heaped into My bosom sorrow upon sorrow but now the complete number of Bridal Souls has been added to My Heart so that I am overflowing with lovers. How adoringly they swept into Me so that My wound is no longer a wound but a bed of roses."

Christ gave her His hands and feet as well. The Bride saw the same miracle happened there. His wounds appeared to have healed. What remained were rose colored scars as a testimony to the pain that once afflicted Him.

Jerusalem opened her own heart wide. Love called her upward!

"Come My dove!"

With outstretched Jesus invited her to step beyond the Golden Winged archway. After she passed through the entrance, the Bridegroom led the Queen of His Heart into a cave. He received her in the deepest innermost chamber. Now Jerusalem had been in many caves within the Heart of the Beloved, but the beauty found here surpassed them all!
A multitude of flowers of various hues covered the crystal walls of the cavern. All the colors of Christ's love were reflected on every side, above and beneath. Brilliant reds and purples, golden, yellow and blue, emerald waterfalls rushed downward forming sparkling pools. Into these waters the Prince of Love carried His Bride. This would be her final passage and rite into eternity! He remained with her tenderly washing all her members in the scented bath.

Oh the white stillness of the Bride was like the petals of a lily fresh born in the morning air. She arose from the green of the pool, eternally youthful, her golden hair falling about her, shining in the light of Jesus' face. Her innocent beauty was far greater than anything in the natural world. If the eyes of worldly understanding were permitted to see her there on the edge of the pool surrounded by the high golden cliffs of the cavern they would behold how truly lovely she was. When she walked her movements were fluid like a dream, but only pure Bride could dwell with Jesus in this realm, the sacred domain where the holy Lover reigns. His grandeur encompassed Him. His elegance was beyond comeliness. Yes these qualities went before Him like a sweet force giving warmth to all things.

To be continued...

This is a beautiful story that really happened to someone, it was an encounter with the Lord in the Spirit, the Wedding, and the place He had prepared for this Bride.

Transported during prayer, I found myself in a castle courtyard with St. Ita and other Irish saints that I recognized from ancient icons I had seen. They brought me a beautiful bay horse and helped me mount her.

I turned and rode out of the enclosure at a canter, into a dark forest. I was following an ancient road and after a very short while I arrived at another castle. The draw bridge was down and after I rode in it went up.

Dismounting in the courtyard I walked to the left down a stone corridor to a very small gothic chapel with ornate arches and pillars. When I enterred, it was empty, but sunlight streamed through a beautiful rosette window above the altar. I wondered why I was here.

Shortly thereafter, the light from the window intensified and the Lord Himself descended into the room. He was dressed in a festive white bridal garment and stood in the front of the church as if waiting for His Bride.

Then I saw myself (from the back of the Church) standing in the center of the isle and center of the church. I was dressed in an exquisite wedding gown adorned with pearlescent folded dove wings from the back of my neck to my waist, and from there down was a shimmery satiny white material, full and spreading out three feet on either side of me at the floor. A glorious rosette of angels surrounded me. They were plaiting my hair with pearls and working beneath my veil to put the finishing touches in my hair.

Finally they were finished and my guardian angel dressed in warrior attire stepped forward and kissed me on my right cheek. Then he, standing on my left took my arm and walked me up the isle to Jesus who was beaming with joy at my approach. It truly was a fairy tale wedding, but in all of this I was totally stunned and amazed.

As I stood before the Lord, the love of my life, He took a ring with three sparkling marquis cut diamonds and placed it on my finger saying, "With this ring, I thee wed." And kissed me very tenderly on my right cheek. Then He took my right hand and we began to lift off the cathedral floor into the air until we had ascended through the rosette window into Heaven.

We arrived at a palace with polished marble floors, and in the opening was a large (thirty feet in diameter) round fountain shooting delicate sprays of water into the air that reminded me of Buckingham Fountain, in Chicago. As we passed it, we enterred this grand palace with a domed roof about 70 feet to its top where there was a large round opening letting in light, although there didn't seem to be any darkness or shadows anywhere, just a very soft diffused light. The interior seemed to be about one hundred feet deep and sixty feet wide, with grand waterfalls almost reaching the ceiling. Three were three on the left and three on the right, approximately twenty-five feet wide, with spaces inbetween that had rock outcropppings with spruce trees and various ferns and flowers. At the end of the room stood a massive waterfall about fifty feet wide. In spite of the volume of water flowing in the room, it was quiet enough to hear the flapping of dove wings as they flew overhead.

My right arm was on the Lord's left as He walked me in and I could see my bridal train, long and ornately pearled as it swept across the floor. A golden eagle descended from above and landed on my left arm, his talons were gentle like fingers. He was radiant as burnished bronze, regal as a warrior in battle, and completely at rest on my arm.

The Lord brought me to the first waterfall where there was a patio like love seat of white wrought iron. We sat there together beholding the beauty of the very first waterfall on the left. I could hardly believe my eyes as the water danced and flashed lovely irredescent peacock shades.

It was magnificent to behold. Cascades of water tumbling down, some in gentle sprays, some with great volume. Lavendars, aquamarine, blue, purple soft pale rose and satiny white. Doves flew back and forth, their wings echoing in this magnificent chamber.

The Lord turned to me and said tenderly, "All of this is yours."

Not being able to control my thoughts, I said, " But I have not yet overcome." (all my faults, vices, sins)

He replied, "I have overcome for you."

"All of this is for you."

This event in her life really encouraged me because I have been so conditioned to believe that my whole life has to be picture perfect...yet the Lord prepared this wonderful palace for her and gave it to her before she was perfected....

By the way, where is that picture from? :)

Not being able to control my thoughts, I said, " But I have not yet overcome." (all my faults, vices, sins)

He replied, "I have overcome for you."

 that's so true! That's awesome!

If you don't mind, I will copy them and get them to him. I don't have a printer and his machine is down today...but perhaps I can snag him later, to sit at my machine. In the meantime, I would like to share another episode from Chronicles of the Bride with you.

The Magnificent Palace

We are still in our bridal attire, seated on the willow couch, my train fanned out before us, as I recline on the Lord's heart. This place is magnificent beyond description. Doves flying back and forth above us, their wings rustling, mingled with the gentle rush of cascading water.

We are sitting near the first waterfall to the left, facing it, taking in the glory of this place. I sense that the Lord is thoroughly enjoying my overwhelming sense of joy and thanks giving for such an awesome gift. Only He could have known those secret places in my heart that rejoice with this kind of beauty...even down to the details of my favorite colors forming rainbows and hues of indigo light beneath the white spray, with rainbow prisms as they splash off the rocks.

The delicate spruce tree growing beside the waterfall captures these winsome lights in each droplet, as its sweet fragrance mingles with that of lilies, growing along the edge of the pool beneath it.

A robin has nested in the tree and from where we are I can see three vibrant blue eggs. A large Blue Morpho butterfly fluttered beneath the falls, its wings flashing iridescent blue. My eyes followed these dancing blue splashes to the right side of the fall where the rocks open into some kind of crevice. This delightful sight changed suddenly when a white tiger emerged from between the rock walls and padded his way over to us. I was thrilled to see this majestic beast. He came to the foot of the recliner and began licking my feet, then he began to pace back and forth rubbing up against us, purring very loudly. The Lord knew this has been one of my favorite of his creations.

I was overwhelmed with these gifts and said in a broken voice, "But I haven't done anything to deserve this Lord."

He answered, "You obeyed."

Then kitty came over to my face, nose to nose (a bit intimidating to say the least...except I knew I was in Heaven), and the Lord said, "There is no hurt or wounding here, and his name is Simba." I also noticed there was no odor associated with him as is usual with big cats. Just kind of a sweet mushroomy smell, that reminded me of a kitten's feet.

Simba put his head on my lap and I stroked his eyebrows. He is so big!

Then I began to notice the second waterfall on the left side of the palace. There were otters frolicking down the slippery rock face and plunging into a pool of crystalline aqua water. Rather than a rock wall holding the water back, there terraced stairs descending and the front of the pool had a transparent side where I could see the otters playing underwater. I walked over to them and put my hand in the water and they slid underneath my palm in a gesture of "pet me." Again there was no fishy smell, only the fragrance of lilies and fresh water.

This is a place of wonder!

Just a little note about this encounter, for this particular Bride, as Kisstheson had mentioned, the environment that He created was designed around the secret desires of her heart. Another soul might prefer other animals, or an exquisite chamber with crystals and roses. The very point of it all is that He designed this place especially, just for her..."I have gone to prepare a place for you.." is so very literal and all of us have sooooooooo much to look forward to! (do I sound excited?)

As I read this, it moved my heart because Yeshua has told me over and over again that I am unique to Him, His only one. He is truly preparing a place for each of us that is uniquely designed just for US, INDIVIDUALLY!
Thanks for sharing. We are each married to Him in a unique way and will live with Him forever in a private way that no other may ever understand!

The Pocession of Love Continued...

The beauty of Jesus lit upon Jerualem and drew her to Himself. With the same fluid motion she knelt before Him as He stepped unto the rock. The Lover turned and faced her. His turning came as though it was the first glance, the first knowing. His eyes burned bright and clear, increasing in joy and passion. He wept for the sweetness of love swept into Him bearing waves of adoration, worship and praise. A breeze came into the cave stirring His hair now so filled with light that it took on the appearance of shimmering white locks. When He bowed to Jerusalem, His hair blew about her head caressingly. All calmness and loveliness came into His features. His white skin pulsated with a soft glowing energy invading the senses of the Soul. With a great sigh, not one of sadness or longing but deep contentment, Christ Jesus, the Shepherd-Prince, the King of Kings enfolded His Bride.

Suddenly there appeared at the feet of the lover and the Beloved a bank of white roses. The roses continued to spread rapidly throughout cave closing in on all sides the Bride until they touched her. Leaning into a mound of roses that indeed cusihoned the head, hands and feet of Jesus, He spoke to Jerusalem,

"Oh My purity, My purity. My longed for purity! In your earthly tabernacle I gave you My promise that one day you would waken to a deeper reality. You dreamed of our meeting here. Now give back that which is Myself in you. Be surrendered in Me as I am in you and we will be an offering to the Father."

There was the soft luster of her hair released from the confinement of hindered love. The flow was so abundant that the eyes of Jerusalem were hidden from the Beloved until He, with a simple gesture entreated her look, entwining His fingers in her tresses. At once all of the members within Bride sang of their longing to the Bridegroom.

'Our hearts tremble!
Inwardly we flutter!
Our longing souls are directed skyward like the bosom of the innocent who lay in grassy fields dreaming on a summer's eve.
The waiting is long
We are praying for the eternal kiss!
Jesus has yet to take us.
He has unnerved us!
He has undone us!
Who knows us?
Who understands us?
Christ alone hears our silent weeping,
Our mouths are gaping like lilies,
Like opened roses seeking the dew of Heaven.
He has bent to breathe in our fragrance
He has even passed His hand over us
But we await His fullness, His coming!"

Jesus took the members of the Bride into His compassion. He it was that broke the seal of His Heart over her like fragrant perfume and marvelously poured His glory into her so that not one of her members were rejected. Then with gentle
care He extracted from her flowering heart the sweetest drops of nectar and presented them to the Father in worship.

The Beloved rested with His Bride in the bosom of the Godhead and sang loves victory song while she slept.

To be continued.

Kisstheson said, "I am nearly not that descriptive although I try to be."

I don't mean to be contrary...but you have quite a gift for describing the indescribable... "A rainbow mist swirled about His body encompassed by His blazing Heart."

I believe He is quite charmed ... and I wouldn't be surprised to see Him swept right off His feet by all of you!!
