"Of course I remember...." Edward said, his eyes glancing downward at the scar that rand down the middle of the back of his hand, and ran down to the middle of his arm.....

flashback
"I'm going to Anthony's, Edward...." Edie stated.
"You know I don't trust him." Edward replied, sternly.
"What's the big deal between you two? You act like he's got a disease!!" Edie roared back. Edward maintained his calm composure.
"I just think he's going to hurt you...." Edward replied, a worried look on his face.
"I'll be fine. I've got my cell phone." Edie replied, happily. Edward nodded, and sighed.
"Alright then..." Edward replied.
----------------------
"Hello, Edie." Anthony said. He led her into his house. No one else was home, except him.
The two talked for a while. Eventually, Anthony asked her an odd question.
"May I see your cell phone? My parent's have this weird thing about 'no cell phone's in the house'" Anthony said. Edie, skeptically, pulled out her cell phone.
"Heh heh...." Anthony said. Then, he crushed it, with his bare hand.
"I'm in a gang now...Well, going to be in a gang." Anthony said, laughing as he said this. Edie's eyes went wide. This didn't sound good.
"And, to get in...i have to have a girl with me...So, I called the guy's here to witness my initiation..." Anthony said. Several people in all sorts of attire came out of the closet and hallway doors. Edie gasped. She realized what he was talking about.
Edie was standing next to the kitchen table, and she grabbed it, and threw her arms upward, flinging the table in front of her as a barricade. She turned, and bolted into the kitchen. Her shaky hands grabbed the phone. She frantically dialed Edward's number. It rang once. Twice. three times.
"PICK UP!!" she bellowed, sobbing as she screamed. Anthony was charging through the kitchen door like a bull on a rampage. She set the phone down, and turned to face Anthony. She aime da kick at him, and he flinched back, then charged in.
"'Hello?'"
"EDWARD!! HELP!!" Edie screamed from Anthony's grip. A hammer slammed into the phone, crushing it. Edward gasped.
"MOM!! I'M GOING OUT!!" Edward shouted, as he jumped out the window. Luckily, he was on the ground floor.
-----------------------------------------------
Edie was exhausted. For fifteen minutes, she had bit, kicked, screamed, and clawed around her to prevent any of the ten-odd men from getting to her. A few had knives, and had grazed her arms with them. Most of the men were afraid of her, but Anthony was not having this. "Grab her!!" He roared. Four men grabbed her arms and legs, as she tried kicking. she screamed, uselessly. Anthony started to remove her pants.
Suddenly, there was a loud crash, and the door hit the floor.
"911? Yes, I'm at 3119 19th Street....Yeah, there's gonna be...1....2....5....8....10 of them. Send an ambulance!" Edward said. He dropped the phone, and rushed forward. Anthony didn't let go of Edie, and so he was socked in the face. Two more jumped at Edward. His hand grabbed one by the arm, and swung him around into the other. Edward ran at another one, and slammed his head against the wall, breaking the plaster. Four left.
Edward tripped one, and grabbed the table off the floor, and through it at the other two. But, the last one got behind him, and ran his knife up Edward's arm.
"Ahh!!" Edward screamed, clutching his bleeding arm. The man rushed at him again, this time aiming for his neck. Edward raised his foot, and kicked the knife away, and then slammed his foot into the man's face.
----------------------------
"I'm sorry...." Edie murmured, as Edward supported her with his good arm.
"It's okay. Let's go home." Edward said. He had used his sleeve to creae a makeshift bandaged, but Edie was supporting him more than he was her.
End Flashback.

"It's not your fault about that day, much as you think. Anthony was an idiot." Edward said.
