the book of enoch

I've read throgh some of the book of enoch because i was curious about the giants in the old testament. I can't decide though if i believe the book of enoch. does anyone have any outstanding proof that the book is or isn't reputable? Another thing, since the lost books are left out of most bibles, isn't that violating revelations where it says not to add or take away from the bible? some answers would be nice please.

While I can't fathom what this has to do with hamartiology, the warning in Revelation (no 's') deals with that book alone. When Revelation was written, the Bible did not yet exist as such.

The Book of Enoch is not meant to be taken as Authority - It contridicts God's Word.
