There is no better rootbeer then A&W when poured over vanilla ice cream in a frosty mug and accompanied by a footlong chili and cheese dog in an A&W drive in. Drooooool

Yep, we've got them here. There's one in the next town over, where my best friend lives. Guess I'm going to have a shorter road trip than you are!

haha. Have you ever bought one of their mugs? Heavy things. We got a gift certificate for there when my wife did a guest lecture at SUNY Cortland. Good food.

I grew up in eastern Ohio, which is more culturally eastern then midwestern. So we had Dad's and Hire's too.

I never liked Root Beer.. so I got a Dr. Pepper float, yummmy!
Here (Washington) We had no A&W until very recently when AW and Kentucky Fried Chicken joined forces...One stop eating!

I usually don't like soda at all, as caffeine is not good for one's health. So, if I ever have a soda, it is almost always Sprite.

Sprite... You wanna try (I don't know if you guys have got it in America asi think its a purely aussie brand) Tarax brand lemon flavoured soft drink over lemon-lime sorbet... It is soooooo nice...

Root beer always used to be my favorite. I rarely drink sodas these days (though it probably wouldn't be impossible to tempt me with root beer once in a while )

yeah but this is a home made concoction... lemon-lime icecream with lemon soda... I'm too lazy to figure out the pecentages... So I'm just saying it tastes like pure caffine!!! lol
