You've just watched convicted felon and arch-idiot extraordanaire Kent Hovind's Seminar videos and now you're posting his "arguments" verbatim."In the beginning God" - Genesis 1:1

Considering that folks who interpret Genesis literally believe man was created from dirt (and women from dirt once removed), then shouldn't creationism be "In the beginning God made man out of dirt"?"In the beginning God" - Genesis 1:1

Sheep is hardly any better. You know, now that I think about it, it seems awful weird for creationists to be proud to believe they came from dirt?
well, it couldnt have been like that "in the beginning" because man wouldn't have anywhere to live now would he?Considering that folks who interpret Genesis literally believe man was created from dirt (and women from dirt once removed), then shouldn't creationism be "In the beginning God made man out of dirt"?

And as for the quoting... yes it was Kent Hovind although I'm not sure if it was a seminar or not
Now that it is clear that I do not share that opinion maybe we can get into some more meaty discussion as opposed to replying so immaturely.
I agree with flatworm that the origin of the universe really doesn't have much to do with the evolutionary evidence and the two are often put together as if they were the same theory.
Although I do take some offence to trying to hide the fact that I reject modern science.
There are many scientists out there with a strong belief in God and a strong belief in creation who would be quite offended at your comment (like Francis Collins, head of the Human Genome project).
I personally would like to know which theory of the beginning of the universe you guys believe in.
