Without Christianity, Atheists wouldn't even exist .....
They are there to test Christian belief, to make it strong

I have seen, non-believers convincing believers, that their faith in God is valid
Think about it ..... ?
Atheism predates Christianity. The ancient Greeks often debated the existence of gods.

Is this also why, we have a correlation between higher levels of education achieved (less ignorance) and lower beliefs in religion?

Where exactly do you find such a ridiculous correlation ?

Here you go:

https://www.psychologytoday.com/blo...201401/more-knowledge-less-belief-in-religion

"To summarise briefly, a recent review of 63 studies showed that there is a moderate negative relationship between intelligence and religiosity (Zuckerman, Silberman, & Hall, 2013). The review found that religious beliefs, such as belief in God, are somewhat more strongly related to lower intelligence than religious behavior, such as church attendance. The authors estimated that the average difference in IQ points between believers and nonbelievers ranged from 6.2 for non-college samples to 7.8 for college samples. This difference is roughly half a standard deviation in size, so this represents a reasonably substantial effect rather than something trivial."

You seem awfully bitter about the fact that atheists are on C.F. Did you have a bad experience with one or something?

I sympathize with folks your age Dave. You probably remember a time when you could say whatever you liked about christianity without your statements being challenged in any way. It's probably a disturbing trend at your age to see this is not the case anymore.

What sarcasm?

There is nothing that you can 'teach' against atheism. You can only either prove the existence of God or that God can provide the convincing evidence Himself.

As long as theists continue to offer unconvincing arguments for the existence of deities, atheists will remain unconvinced, unless God (whichever one that may be) personally decides to reveal Himself to them.

Whenever did sarcasm become a means to polite interaction

AND, what has my age to do with the content above
this is NOT an age-related forum

Maybe, it's a matter of 'immature superiority complex'
Maybe you are hopeful of provoking 'a heated exchange'
LOL
If so, you'd best give-it-up ~you won't achieve one

:)

I was sincere in everything I said.

Oh, I see (I think)
I thought I was expressing opinion, just as you guys appear to be doing

Maybe, it is a habit you guys have adopted

eg: entering a Christian Forums ~for (perhaps) the purpose of
denigrating Christians and their beliefs

I recall 'times', when this site would Permaban such visitors
but Political Niceness prevails, and such people are not to be discriminated-against
I say, that Reverse-Discrimination, has become a possibility
~what is good for the goose, has to be good for the gander also (?)

alt. If I respect your "right", to your non-belief, I should expect you, to respect my beliefs

I will hold the door for you ~if you wish to leave ?
Simmer down.
Please demonstrate how I have denigrated your beliefs?
Maybe his spellcheck changed "disagreed" to "denigrated." :)

Statistical Claptrap

and where are the peer-reviews.... ??
the pool of 63 cases out of a population, is too-small a sample
even if 50% were atheists and the other 50% Christians

All totally unsubstantiated
and very probably propaganda
with a huge bias, stemming from the author

Such comings have been prophesied

It was a review of 63 different studies (a significant amount), not 63 cases.

Sorry.

And hey, I didn't expect you to accept it, just demonstrating the correlation I claimed, has been shown in many different studies.

If, it be at-all important to you, that you arrive at the BEST DESTINATION
Prayerfully make a good-decision at each and every crossroads (djb 2008)
Just a simple question: why do preachers like you usually have such huge problems with grammar?

Or, if that is indeed a quote that you found somewhere... why do these people have such huge problems with grammar... and why do people like you simply ignore these problems.

And: what is (djb 2008)... somehow I doubt that it refers to the Deutsche Judo Bund. ;)

This extract explains that the results MIGHT INDICATE a small tendency
but that causal factors are UNKNOWN
Again I say, the statistical guesses are just-that 'guesses' and the sample too small
ie: how many were questioned / how the sampling was regulated

extract from page link said:
Studies like this are correlational in nature, so it is not possible to decide for sure what is causing the relationship. That is, we do not know whether intelligence causes people to be less religious, whether religion dampens a person’s intelligence, or whether there is some third variable underlying both

Thus it is inappropriate to place any credence upon what is basically, an aspersion

Christianity borrows heavily from Judaism, but I don't see how "borrowing" anything makes much of a difference when it comes to relevance.

Christianity directly from Jews and of the prophesied Messiah, to call it 'borrowing' from Judaism is weak. Mohammad however comes 500 years later and creates a completely new religion, which probably wouldn't even exist if it weren't for Christian belief.

Do Jews accept Jesus as the Messiah?

To be absolutely fair, it is plainly verbal-diarrhoea
and undeserving of acknowledgement ~'unproven claptrap'
simply, an unwarranted innuendo
