This is the Philosophy forum. According to the forum's Statement of Purpose, it is for the "critical examination of the rational grounds of our most fundamental beliefs and logical analysis of the basic concepts employed in the expression of such beliefs" (Concise Encyclopedia). If you feel you are unable to participate in accordance with the forum's intended purpose, then may I suggest other sections of the site where the standards are much more lax, such as Theology (Christians only)?

and having read through the thread, then, to make comments
that, as can be seen, received 'the attention' (replies) above
It is I am sure obvious (here) that a little clique of unbelievers, 'crowd-in' around Christians
(those that reply) and begin making 'personal remarks' / 'comments'
toward the Christian responder's beliefs, rather than the content of their posts
which clearly would have been reportable (not so long ago)
Rather than see yet more, of 'that', and to engage such 'contentious attitudes'
I chose, instead, to place them on my ignore-list, for they, offer, no more than ridicule
Excellent reply .Christianity is the one religion atheists aim at. It is what other religions aim at. It is the history of the society you live in. Christ changed the world.
But nice job trying to downplay it to your ordinary, day to day life. You came here to be against Christianity, I don't labor under any delusion that all of you came here out of some interest in Christianity.

When you take into account that 'majority' is only 53%, and many of them are as 'meh' as they come as far as being Christian, you're not really saying much. Christianity over there seems to largely be progressivism with a Persian death stick on top of it.
And as far as your argument, I'm just going to hereby drop everything I said and say that you aren't doing anything but trying to get around the substantiated fact that atheism and science are strongly correlated. This conversation is a waste of time, I'm right.. I don't need to give you examples of jack just so you can swoop and dodge them.

I sympathize with folks your age Dave. You probably remember a time when you could say whatever you liked about christianity without your statements being challenged in any way. It's probably a disturbing trend at your age to see this is not the case anymore.

There is nothing that you can 'teach' against atheism. You can only either prove the existence of God or that God can provide the convincing evidence Himself.
As long as theists continue to offer unconvincing arguments for the existence of deities, atheists will remain unconvinced, unless God (whichever one that may be) personally decides to reveal Himself to them.

What do gods have to do with science? If it is of no scientific significance, it is not science. That is axiomatic.They were both avid Christians who would disagree with atheists today harboring their rejection of God on science.
