I totally agree with Colin and Christy on this when they said Mirna and Charla were rude to get into the taxi. They are the only team who complains every single episode, about how they can't do the challenge! 'I'm Gonna Die' Come on! You won't die carrying sheep to a boat. I think that my favorite to win the race now lies in Chip and Kim. They are awesome! They aren't forgetting where they come from, and seems like they are really enjoying all the sights

I knew Lance & Marshall were toast from about 3 minutes in, so there was no suspense last night. By the end of the hour I felt bad for Marshall (okay, a little), and I was glad Lance wasn't being a jerk about it. I love that Phil went to them, lol.

I was starting to like Charla a little, but she got on my nerves again last night with her yelling at Mirna in the big sandbox. And Mirna? There are no words I can use for you on a Christian site. Again with the "dis-GUS-ting." And Colin was assaulting you? He has a Napolean complex? Oh, I had to replay that scene a few times (yes, I tape TAR. I am beyond hope). Man, I hope they are gone but soon.

Why did the Bowling Mom (Karen, Linda...whoever) and Mirna keep digging in the same spots? They were starting to annoy me like the Brothers during the chocolate eating; it's like a wave of lethargy had ensnared them and they'd forgotten they were in a race.

The Center of Creation:
I never want to see Brandon with his shirt off again. That was repulsive, and Nichole's praise of it was even more vomit-inducing.
Charla did make me laugh as she made her way down.

Charla and Mirna, Brandon and Nichole...I don't care which, but I hope one of the teams leaves next week.

Chip helped them get to the Detour area and then he and Kim headed to the Pit Stop. I need to rewatch the episode Saturday to catch the daparture times again, but apart from Colin and Christie, I think everyone checked into Giza within an hour.

Did none of these idiots know what a scarab is? It's a good thing they didn't have to find an "Ushabti" or "Canopic Jar." And speaking of Evil Twin like cluelessness, I saw a bunch of teams running all over the plateau when they were directed to the Great Pyramid. That's the one with the remains of the limestone casing at the top you morons (and that's assuming they couldn't tell it was the tallest).

However annoying Mirna and Charla are, Marshall and Lance came off looking like big jerks on the Early Show Wednesday morning. No matter how right they are, they really should tone down the trash talking. I live in Dallas and I'm planning on making a trip to Cafe Nostra to take a pic for another forum. I'll take a "CF friendly" version for here and post it in within a few weeks.

Speaking of Mirna, could you imagine what she's like in the courtroom?

"My clients evidence is Bellisimo, while the defendants is {motions like she found dog poop on her shoe and holds her nose} "Estinko."

I can also see her needing to present a piece of evidence to the jury, and since actual physical labor reduces her to crying "I'm dyyyyyying," I figure she'll pop Charla out of her briefcase and have her hold the evidence above her head parading it before the jury like a bikini clad girl announcing the round number at a boxing match.

I love this show.

I'd like to see them knocked off their high horse and brought back down a few notches. Or heck, I'd like to see them get kicked off next week!

Ach, either way. Colin and Christie are the least offensive of the offensive teams so far. Colin's a future Chris... er wife beater, but they haven't been ugly Americans like Lance and Marshall and The Bowling Moms (see them in the taxi to the airport), the Evil Twins... 'nuff said, Bradon (moreso than Nichole), no booze but screw over fellow contestants and the myriad of legitimate complaints about Mirna and Charla's behavior. Chip and Kim are the only pair deserving virtually no disdain - though they live in an area of Orange County, CA where houses start well over $350,000 so the "ghetto" schtick is getting old.

Does Colin deserve derision? Yes, he's a moron. He was confused about the image in "The Prodigal Son" and didn't know what a Scarab was. This aside from the potential wife-beater status makes him trashing worthy, but as I opened the post - he's the current least of all lesser evils IMO.

I'll say it again - I love this show!

Oh, ok! Thanks for clearing that up for me! Good to see you again, Arwen! I guess I will continue to cheer them then. They are better than the twins, right? LOL! Plus, they made this last leg with NO money!! That was interesting to see them beg - poor gals. I do agree with USincog, that they should be much, much more respectful of the "local folk", though. Mirna can take a lesson on manners as well.

I think I've made up my mind that I like Chip and Kim the best. They truly deserve to win the whole thing above anyone else. Here's why they impress me:

-They've helped out others on more than one occassion now!
-They're supporting and loving of EACH other.
-Finally, they professed their devout Christianity in their awe of the "Prodigal Son" painting, and then being in the middle of Egypt. Impressive to me, anyway.

On a side note - was it Colin that said the "Prodigal Son" was actually JESUS???!!! I could not believe that. Egads....get a clue, buddy. lol.

Ahh, I missed the start of this race and just caught on a few episodes ago. I agree that the Bowling Moms were a bit harsh in the taxi to the airport. You're in THEIR country and you're upset because he didn't understand your english. I understand their frustrations, but honestly, that's just total stupidity. As for the two brothers, I'm not sure how they really acted. From what I've read here, probably need their heads knocked together. I felt bad for the one that couldn't walk well and that's the way they had to go out. It's so much better to see them lose fair and square!

If it wasn't for Charla, I'd hate the team. I ignore Mirna, think she has a lot of nerve saying she's dying trying to grab a few goats when she's made Charla do all the stuff thus far. Just get in there and do it and stop your whining!

I for one think Lance still should have found the scarab. He said he looked for it for 2.5 hours, but I don't believe him. I don't know why, I just don't. In not finishing the Roadblock it looks like they wimped out. At least finish it then say Marshall can't go on to the Pitstop. Then you can have Phil magically appear!
