The church describes itself as this beautiful and most desireable tree. I love using their philosophy against them.
So the church is a beautiful and most desireable tree, you say? I say it isn't. Hears my reasoning. Scripture says that money is the root of all evil. The church collects money. Therefore, the church has an evil root in it.
Does a good tree bear corrupt fruit? Or does a corrupt tree bear corrupt tree? O you say that the church is not corrupt. Then how do you explain the root of evil in it?

O the money is for a good cause. Right, it pays the bills. O donate to the poor. But the poor remain poor and the church remains rich.
