The foolish virgins left behind must choose to worship the beast and rcv the mark of the beast or to be killed, that simple option.

You are putting the pretrib spin on the passage.

Those not ready at His Second Coming will not get a second chance, as you are implying.

This Second Chance mentality is one of the greatest flaws of the pretrib doctrine.
Christ is warning against the Second Chances mentality in the parable of the virgins.

Once a person comes to understand that the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34 is fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and is specifically applied to the Church in Hebrews 12:22-24, and 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, the whole Two Peoples of God doctrine falls apart and its pretrib removal of the Church falls with it.

I often agree with you and have much respect as you have searched the scriptures to come to your conclusions. I do disagree with you on this aspect of the church and Israel not being separate entities with an agreement that there is only one new covenant for salvation through Jesus for both.

I would point to places which support Israel having a national destiny and future in the Millennium. I tend to post some of the same verse regularly and this time will post a yet future promise and never been fulfilled passage in Ezekiel 34. This is an end times verse and is specific to Israel and make distinctions between the Jews and Gentiles at the time when the LORD himself saves then and becomes shepherd over them and David is raised up. read this passage and consider how can Israel be the church or is this speaking of Israel.

1 ‘For thus says the Lord GOD: “Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. 12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. 13 And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country. 14 I will feed them in good pasture, and their fold shall be on the high mountains of Israel. There they shall lie down in a good fold and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. 15 I will feed My flock, and I will make them lie down,” says the Lord GOD. 16 “I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick; but I will destroy the fat and the strong, and feed them in judgment.”
17 ‘And as for you, O My flock, thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I shall judge between sheep and sheep, between rams and goats. 18 Is it too little for you to have eaten up the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pasture—and to have drunk of the clear waters, that you must foul the residue with your feet? 19 And as for My flock, they eat what you have trampled with your feet, and they drink what you have fouled with your feet.”
20 ‘Therefore thus says the Lord GOD to them: “Behold, I Myself will judge between the fat and the lean sheep. 21 Because you have pushed with side and shoulder, butted all the weak ones with your horns, and scattered them abroad, 22 therefore I will save My flock, and they shall no longer be a prey; and I will judge between sheep and sheep. 23 I will establish one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them—My servant David. He shall feed them and be their shepherd. 24 And I, the LORD, will be their God, and My servant David a prince among them; I, the LORD, have spoken.
25 “I will make a covenant of peace with them, and cause wild beasts to cease from the land; and they will dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods. 26 I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing. 27 Then the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase. They shall be safe in their land; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke and delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them. 28 And they shall no longer be a prey for the nations, nor shall beasts of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and no one shall make them afraid. 29 I will raise up for them a garden of renown, and they shall no longer be consumed with hunger in the land, nor bear the shame of the Gentiles anymore. 30 Thus they shall know that I, the LORD their God, am with them, and they, the house of Israel, are My people,” says the Lord GOD.’ ”
31 “You are My flock, the flock of My pasture; you are men, and I am your God,” says the Lord GOD.

All the true faithful believers are the Israel of God. His Overcomers for God; the literal meaning of His Israelites. Galatians 6:16
Jesus referred to the current secular State of Israel when He said they were of the synagogue of Satan. Revelation 2:9 and Revelation 3:9 They face Judgement and punishment on the Lord's Day of wrath, as many prophesies say and only a remnant will be saved. Romans 9:27

I often use Ezekiel 34:11-16 as a proof of how it will be the Lord's 'sheep', His righteous Christian believers who will re-occupy all the holy Land. John 10:16
Note that this will happen soon after 'a Day of cloud and darkness', this refers to the Lord's Day of wrath, Amos 5:18-20, that will clear and cleanse the holy Land. Deuteronomy 32:34-43

The whole idea of a separate Church and Israel is a construct of the 'rapture to heaven' theory, where they must have Israel on earth while they strum harps in heaven. This is all sheer fictional rubbish and a contradiction of Ephesians 4:4-6, 1 Corinthians 1:13, Colossians 3:11, + where it is made clear that there is only one people of God and Ephesians 2:11-18 absolutely precludes ethnicity being of any value or consequence whatever.

There are many who are beginning to say that the 3 temple will be built in the city of David. That the Dome of the rock was just a guard tower or garrison. If they did find some evidence that Solomon's temple was actually built in the city of David that prefill bible prophecy as they will start building the third temple there. Watch this before you reply

Yes , but the reason anyone would refuse to accept the mark that provides the ability to buy and sell , have a job , etc is because they have accepted the blood of the lamb that was shed for the remission of sins ,

To overcome by the blood of the lamb is performed by accepting Jesus shed His innocent blood , no other way to do it

It may seem redundant but - if anyone would refuse the mark of the beast and choose not to accept Jesus blood on the cross and receive Him as Lord and savoir will not overcome anything

To overcome a person must admit they are a sinner ,and become born-again in spirit and receive Jesus gift of eternal life through repentance of sins and accepting that Jesus shed His blood for payment of those sins

All 10 virgins professed that they belong to Christ only the 5 wise virgins were living in a manner pleasing unto Christ being ready and looking forward to his return , expecting to see him return

the 5 foolish virgins are such that are more carnally minded , not prepared for Christs return , living in ways that are unpleasing to God , some of these unpleasing ways are spoken of by Jesus in the letters to the 7 churches , others are not expectantly looking for Christ to return at all and fall into sin and when the moment comes the Bridegroom comes they are caught off guard in their sins

    You are correct.
The area now known as "The Temple Mount" is the remains of Roman Fort Antonia.

    See the link below.

The Temple Mount and Fort Antonia

If modern Jews rebuild a temple and renew animal sacrifices it will be one more rejection of God's Son.

It is difficult to believe that some Christians have sent money to help build a third temple.

In Hebrews 8:6-13, we find that the New Covenant has made the Old Covenant "obsolete".

In Hebrews 12:18-24, we find that we are not come to the mountain that burns with fire, but instead to the heavenly city of New Jerusalem, brought in by the New Covenant sacrifice of the blood of Christ.

Hi I agree with you about the evidence for the current Temple Mt being the Antonio fortress and that there is only one covenant for salvation which is the new covenant. We have gone back and forth over the idea that national Israel has a destiny and the temple is part of that destiny. I agree that the sacrifice is not necessary as Jesus was the final sacrifice but the prophetic word foretells of specific events that occur in an end times or Tribulation era temple.
I have pointed to you in other posts that Jer 31 which tells you what covenant the new one is replacing.
31 “Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— 32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt,

You see the covenant with Abraham and his descendants over the land of Canaan predates the new covenant for the removal of sin. The covenant with Moses was the Law and the removal of sin via the day of atonement. This is the covenant Jesus replaced. Psalm 105 talks about the duration of the covenant for the land of Canaan.
    Psalm 105
O seed of Abraham His servant,
You children of Jacob, His chosen ones!
    7 He is the LORD our God;
His judgments are in all the earth.
8 He remembers His covenant forever,
The word which He commanded, for a thousand generations,
9 The covenant which He made with Abraham,
    And His oath to Isaac,
10 And confirmed it to Jacob for a statute,
To Israel as an everlasting covenant,
11 Saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan
As the allotment of your inheritance,”
12 When they were few in number,
Indeed very few, and strangers in it.

Jer 31 right after promising a new covenant God affirms the covenant with Abraham over the land again.
    Thus says the LORD,
Who gives the sun for a light by day,
The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night,
    Who disturbs the sea,
    And its waves roar
(The LORD of hosts is His name):
    36 “If those ordinances depart
From before Me, says the LORD,
Then the seed of Israel shall also cease
From being a nation before Me forever.”
    37 Thus says the LORD:
“If heaven above can be measured,
And the foundations of the earth searched out beneath,
I will also cast off all the seed of Israel
For all that they have done, says the LORD.
38 “Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that the city shall be built for the LORD from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate. 39 The surveyor’s line shall again extend straight forward over the hill Gareb; then it shall turn toward Goath. 40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields as far as the Brook Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be holy to the LORD. It shall not be plucked up or thrown down anymore forever.”

The Lord gives two ordinances that we can see as witness that he will not cast off the seed of Israel for all they have done. He then promises a future date when these specific gates in Jerusalem will no more be thrown down ever again. The promise it at a time when there is a valley full of dead bodies. This is consistent with the view that antichrist is accepted by Israel and they do get the return of the sacrifices so that the abomination of desolation promised for the middle of the week can take place. The valley full of dead bodies is that of Armegedon and a view of the 2nd coming.

In LUKE 1 we see that Jesus is promised to sit on the throne of David which is also promised in Isaiah. We see Zacharias when his mouth is loosed speak of Jesus being the deliverer from their enemies to bring in a time when they can worship and serve the LORD without fear all the days of their lives in righteousness and holiness. At the 2nd coming Israel believes upon Jesus and is now righteous and holy through being grafted back in. The deliverance from their enemies is at the 2nd coming. They will be safe from that point on. Those gates mentioned in Jer 31 will never be trampled again.

All of this destiny in the prophecy is related to the return of the temple. The fact that future history is arching directly toward this at a time when global government and a one world cashless society is the objective of global elite makes taking the position that the church is Israel a real stretch of scripture.

In Matthew chapter 21 Christ says the "son" is the "heir" to the land.

He is the seed of Abraham found in Matthew 1:1.

Therefore, the piece of land in the middle east belongs to the seed of Abraham, who is Christ.
He paid for in in blood at Calvary.

Paul clearly says in Galatians 3:16 that the promise was not made to the many seeds, but to the one seed, who is Christ.

Yes I see no need for a 3rd temple. WE are the temple now. What would a renewed sacrefice do? Jesus died ONCE for ALL. It would be a slap in the face. What would be sacreficed and who would do the sacreficing? WE are now the priests. Yes some form of temple will be built but its not of or from God. The temple in Ezekial has no height dimensions and does not match the temple in Rev. I do believe. So that leads me to the question is a literal geographic Israel needed? The one in existence now is a pagan state so what difference does it make? So much of Revelation is written iin “ ancient near eastern” metaphor that Im beginning to question most modern evangelical literal interpretations of it and others books as well. Take His return in the clouds. ALL ancient NE deities made triumphal appearences “in the clouds”, sometimes in chariots or driving the clouds.

Because throughout the history of Israel there were two groups of Israelites.
In Romans 11:1-5 Paul gives the example of the Baal worshippers and the faithful remnant of 7,000.
Paul said the same was true during his time and the same is true today.
However, some of us cannot tell the difference between the two groups, because we refuse to read 1 John 2:22-23.

It was not the Lord of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who created the modern state of Israel.

    It was the Lords Rothschild.

If the Temple in Jerusalem is to be literally rebuilt in the future, then the close connection between the Temple and the Ark means that the Ark will be present then.

In Revelation 11:1-2 it states ... go and measure the Temple of God and the altar....for 42 months the Gentiles will trample the Holy city underfoot.

Matthew 24:15 So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation’ of which Daniel spoke, standing in the Holy place... Daniel 9:27...he will put a stop to the sacrifice and offerings

Isaiah 60:13 the glory of Lebanon will come to you, to adorn His holy sanctuary, to honour the place where I stand.

Ezekiel 43:1-12...the Glory of the Lord came into the Temple by the East gate.

These, and other, texts make it clear that the Temple will exist again on the Temple mount, complete with reinstated rituals, until the Return of Jesus and His Millennial reign.

The original purpose for building a Temple was to house the Ark. This implies that that which is housed is greater than that which houses it. If so, then the return of the Ark is a necessary adjunct to the rebuilt Temple.

It might be argued that since the Presence of God had departed from the Ark/Temple, then the Ark no longer retains its sanctity, and is no longer necessary. But, the Temple continued to have its spiritual significance for long after that happened. Along this line, it may also be argued that the consummating nature of Christ’s atonement for sin ended the need for the Ark’s mercy seat. Yet it is apparent that the temple had sanctity for Jesus during His life and continued to do so for the early Church.

When the Ark rediscovered, perhaps hidden under the Temple Mount, or at Mt Nebo; 2 Maccabees 2:4-8, then that day will see the building of the Third Temple.

Haggai 2:6-9 These are the words of the Lord; In a little while from now, I shall shake the heavens, the earth and the sea. I shall shake all the nations and the treasure of all nations will come here and I shall fill this House with splendour. Mine is the silver and the gold – the splendour of this latter House will surpass that of the former. In this place I shall grant prosperity and peace.

    3:16...

Mat 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

Luk 3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

(See the Spirit in John 3:5-8)

I think an important point in this discussion is the proper interpretation of the Book of Revelation. What does it teach, who are the major actors, is the book future prophecy or past fulfilled prophecy or both?

How you answer those questions will have a major influence where you stand on this subject. Is Israel and their land the major focal point or is it the Church in the furnace of the Tribulation or does it recount Rome in 70AD?

Interesting. First I have heard of that view.
Wouldn't that be Bethlehem.........Zion is also called the City of David.

    2Sa 5:7
Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion (that is, the City of David).

Mic 5:2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come forth to Me
The One to be Ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth are from of old,
    From everlasting.”

    Luk 2:4
Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem,
because he was of the house and lineage of David,
    Luk 2:11
“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Mat 21:5 “Tell the daughter of Zion,
‘Behold, your King is coming to you,
Lowly, and sitting on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.' ”

    Jhn 12:15 “Fear not, daughter of Zion;
    Behold, your King is coming,
    Sitting on a donkey's colt.”
    [fn]
    Rom 9:33
    As it is written:
“Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense,
And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”[fn]
1Pe 2:6 Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,
    “Behold, I lay in Zion
    A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”
    Heb 12:22
But you have come to Mount Zion
and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels,

    Last time used:

    Rev 14:1
Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand,
having His Father's name written on their foreheads.

    Very interesting.
I have been getting more and more fascinated with ancient Jerusalem, of which millions have had their blood shed over it.

Muslims also revere Jesus [and Mary] and they view themselves as descendants of Ismael thru Abraham:
Here is an interesting video I found concerning your post [please feel free to add any others related to the history of Jerusalem, the Temple and the Dome of the Rock.

    ...........

It reminds me of this movie
