Oh. I thought you were asensible Christian there for a minute.

Can you find scripture where angels are talking something other than an earthly language?
Can you find me scripture where angels "only" speak the tongues of men?

This verse shows a distinction between the language of men and of angels.

[FONT=Trebuchet MS, Arial, Geneva][FONT=Trebuchet MS, Arial, Geneva]1 Cor. 13:1
If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

Or maybe we should infer what all orthodox scholars have inferred for CENTURIES regarding 'tongues o angels'...that it is use of the spoken word with the highest possible eloquence, and power? Ya know, just if you wanna stay grounded?
Maybe if you could actually prove that "all" orthodox scholars inferred that you would have a point, but since you cannot, you do not.

The Catholic Church teaches that the tongues of angels exist and are approved, as other charismatic gifts in the Charismatic Catholic movement.
If not, can you tell me the difference between gibberish and true tongues please. I've asked several people this and no answers yet.
It is quite simple and something that all orthodox scholars:p know.

Gibberish is not a language, look it up. True tongues, through the Holy Spirit, is a language given to the believer from our Father in heaven. It is certainly not a necessary gift but one that can bless those who have it, just as all Spiritual gifts do.

I spoke in tongues once but have many experiences with hearing the Lord's voice in plane English.

It has my experience that those who haven't experienced one of God's Spiritual gifts, are quick to doubt God's gifts.

Good point Yarddog. And not only that but it's a blessing for those around that person
who operates in the gift of tongues as well. If I am edified (built up in my spirit) then I
can hear God better, can walk after the spirit rather than after the flesh. Any number
of benefits for not only me but those who are around me!

If we truly have the Spirit of God within us, that Spirit can affect everybody that is around us. We don't have to speak to another person because a loving embrace can do wonders when the cooperation of the Spirit is at work.

God bless my beautiful sister.

Well my blueletter is down, and it's so good I forgot how to use my Strong's ^_^

Anybody here know how many times I've advised to read a chapter of Proverbs a day? Like, today is now the 8th, read chapter 8 today.

"Go from the presence of a foolish man, when thou perceivest not in him the lips of knowledge." Proverbs 14:7

That won't happen for another six days :D
You have advised people to read a chapt of proverbs a day?
I didn't know that.
Just began doing that with my teenagers too!
Today is the 18th so 18th chapter.
Cool

And yet, we still only see through a glass darkly. That which is perfect is not come - we are still subjected to Hope ...

Satan can and does introduce evil desires to a person, but if that person is a temple of God, he or she has the power to reject those desires.
