Me: Well, do I really need this tracking device? oooh but it comes in pink! Those cat ear headphones though, always wanted to buy those.
I turned back to my shock someone was behind me looking at me all weirded out...
I put on my derp face and slowly walked away...I regret till this day not getting those headphones though :/

coworker the other day stopped me by the hallway one morning...
"What are you smoking? You seem high all the time?!"
Me: Lol, idk, maybe the Holy Spirit? Jesus??!

"Hey, you got one today?" Looks left and right...
Me: yeah...what did the chemist say to his valentine...
"What?"
Me: I periodically think about you.
*bursts out laughing
Me: Hey, this doesn't come free! What you got?
"I know a dirty joke."
Me: Nooo! You? Nah! On a scale of 1 to 10 how bad is it?
"K, there was a white horse...he...fell in the mud..."
Me: ?
*10 seconds later
Me: Oh, I get it!!! the horse falling into the mud hence a dirty joke! Genius!

Also, when people say hi right when we're passing each other, and I don't respond quickly enough (if at all). Maybe I was reading email, or deep in thought at the time, and didn't see them coming. Sometimes, I wonder if they think I'm rude, and consider explaining the situation to them later on, but that might make the situation even more awkward.

Gaaah, went and got mail, but there were a group of men doing construction work, I walk passed by them, is it just me or does anyone else feel awkward when you happen to be the only one walking by a group, anyways, on my way back, I had this strange feeling they were eyeing me. One guy yelled out, "Good morning!"
I got startled but waved back. Lol and walked faster

I still submit I can top anyone in this thread with my every day awkwardness.

Went to get a haircut, the stylist asked if I had kids. Her eyes lit up when I said no. She asked if I was married, and was pleased when I said no. Asked if I had a girlfriend, smiled wide when I said no..... And then tried to convince me to use farmersonlydotcom, telling me how I can use it even though I'm not a farmer....

The hilarious part about it is I am so unexperienced and have such low expectations of myself that I expect to catch tiny fish and then have no idea what to do when I catch a big one lol. And I say big, but really it was medium-sized for a catfish.

That extremely awkward moment when you're in an elevator full of nursing students and you let one loose just loud enough for all to hear....

The worst part? While trying to ignore said toot by looking away like I didn't do it, the RN that was training the students turned to me and smiled.
"That sounded pretty healthy!" he chuckled. A couple of students looked amused...one of them looked absolutely horrified.

Lol, don't worry, they are used to it . In a shift, they will have heard numerous toots, and they themselves would have tooted (I know I have lol). Better "out than in" they say.
