Unbelievers Are Easy Marks For Satan

2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them a strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Believers by the Spirit deal directly with the flesh.

James 1:13-15 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

A believer who tries to assign blame to Satan for their own iniquity is willfully neglecting the victorious Life for the sake of the flesh, and in accommodation for the desires therein. When we are enticed and think that Satan or any spirit is involved, we have the authority to banish them from our lives with a simple “Get Lost, Satan.”
We are one on one with the flesh, and we have nothing less than the Holy Spirit of God at our side. The victory is ours whenever our desire to please the Father is greater than the desires of the flesh. Therefore, we are without excuse.

Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

If the unregenerate are without excuse, how much more so those who neglect so great a salvation.

Walking in the Spirit

Galatians 5:16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

This is precisely why Satan will be bound for 1000 years. The Law will go forth from Zion. Isaiah 2:3. There will be no “the devil made me do it”. Trespasses requiring the death penalty will be enforced, and in the end Satan will be loosed to lead a rebellion against such stringency. This is foreshadowed by the end of Solomon’s reign. 1 Kings 12; 2 Chronicles 10.

Okay I agree. But do you think satan is never involved in getting people to sin? He is called a tempter. And when we are tempted it's not always clear cut. Sometimes there is grey confusion areas

If there is confusion or doubt, we are taught not to act and wait on the Lord.
Romans 14:22 Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God. Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves. 23 But he who doubts is condemned if he eats, because he does not eat from faith; for whatever is not from faith is sin.
The concern here is eating with offense. Any act that could offend another must be avoided. The world offers an alternative suggestion. "It is easier to act and apologize later."

1 Corinthians 10:31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 32 Give no offense, either to the Jews or to the Greeks or to the church of God, 33 just as I also, please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

That's true, but sometimes He's just silent and doesn't reveal anything.
As the topic is temptation, He has given us assurances and desires that we be overcomers.
1 Corinthians 10:12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall. 13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear.

As He has given us the Holy Spirit, I stand by my conclusions.
We are without excuse when we give in to carnal desires.
Our desires must be replaced by His.
Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Involuntary Physical / Emotional Feelings and Thoughts are The Fiery Darts from the wicked one and demons in Ephesians 6:16.

“above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.”

- Ephesians 6:16

That's why we need to put on The Spiritual Armor of God and ask The Lord to put it on Us Christians.

GLzcIW1bAAASaKq

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints"

- Ephesians 6:10-18
