Lyn was about to climb into the ceiling herself when she heard the footsteps. She watched Alexuis run out and take down two of them, only to hear more coming. She saw that the only other one not in the ceiling was Jordan.
Lyn looked at Alexuis, then shot Jordan a look and simply said, "Go. we'll be in the ceiling near the White Wing. Meet you."
She turned and walked quickly out of the room, closing the door behind her. She stood over Alexuis's body, studying it before kneeling down and checking all her vitals. A memory returned to her, but Lyn tried hard to push it to some safe place in her mind until later.
Two guards came around the corner, their eyes wide as they saw who was laying on the ground with two guards also unconscious.
"Wha-?" the first gaurd started to say, but Lyn cut him off.
"This is an escapee from the principal's office," Lyn said in her same monotone voice, and it looked like the two guards were going to wet themselves from the idea. "These two tried to aprehend her, but were unable to do so. I was lucky in catching her off-guard and disabling her," Lyn continued. Her words were very forced, not because of the blatant lies she was telling, that didn't even fully register in her mind, but because of how much she had to say consistantly, "I might have hurt her. Go get a med kit please."
The two guards stared at her, then looked at each other. Lyn 'encouraged' them with another "please" and they finally, albeit nervously, took off to get a med kit, figuring the psycho chic wouldn't be able to do anything deceptive. Once they were around the corner again, Lyn bent over Alexuis's body, checking her vitals one more time. She was bigger than Lyn, and she took her time figuring out her next move.
Looking around the closest corner, Lyn counted to herself, then returned to Alexius. After a few moments of quick deep breathing exercises, Lyn leaned over and picked up Alexius fireman style and carried her around the corner and down the hall. Leaning over, she opened another grate and slid Alexuis inside. After pushing her a few yards, Lyn found what she was looking for. An old dumb-weighter system that had been sheetrocked over when they first built the school. Pushing Alexius inside, Lyn climbed inside as well, quickly disable the wired monitor system to track any use of the dumb-weighter and quickly dropped down two floors. After everything was put back into place, Lyn began hauling Alexius further through the maze of air ducts and ceilings and rafters and whatever else.
Soon it seemed like even inside the darkness of the ceiling and air ducts, it was brighter.
"White Wing," Lyn thought to herself as she searched around for a specific ceiling tile. She propped Alexius up, found a pressure point and massaged it gently. At the same time, she tapped on the ceiling tile with a certain rhythmn and waited a few moments before hearing another rhythmn tapped back. This went on for a few moments, then Lyn pulled out her notebook, writing a few more things down while waiting for the others and for Alexius to wake up.
