Jordan turned and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Whatever we face out there, it'll be so much better than in here."

He brushed his hand across her cheek.

"I'll protect you, Skyla, I promise."

Clover handed over her tools. Then said randomly

"Whats gonna happen if they catch us?"

Jordan turned to Clover.

"Kid, if they catch us, they'll have to deal with me, got it?? You will make it out of here. I promise you all, you WILL make it out."

Skyla closed her eyes as Jordan's hand brushed across her cheek. She loved the way he spoke and reassured Clover. She leaned over in those tiny ducts and kissed him on the cheek.

Alexius scowled, couples. So annoyingly happy, "Quite, sound travels in vents. Hurry Liz."

Lyn stared intently as the two exchanged romatic interlude. It was intriguing, and something Lyn wasn't sure if she'd ever seen before. Sure, she'd seen guys and girls do that thing when they sat next to each other or saw each other in the hallways.

"Flirt," she thought to herself, "That's what it's called. It sounds kind of like a slang term for some sort of illness or disease."

She shrugged to herself, but in the back of her mind somewhere, she wondered what it was like and what physical, mental, and emotional traits this vague disease carried with it.

Quiet, sound travels in vents. Hurry Liz," Alexius scowled. Lyn determined that she'd somehow become the leader of this op, and wondered if she was fully qualified. Well, at least she'd go postal on anyone that tried to stand in their way. That was hopeful.

Chase followed at the back of the group. He watched Skyla and Jordan talk, and they looked so sweet... so happy. No one had ever spoken like that to him. It was a site thought, that a 17 year old kid never had a date, never had a girl like him, never asked anyone to a dance. And he didn't think he was ever going to.
