[Everloving]

Jordan glared back and forth between Gabbie and Lenny.

How could she bring him here!! There plan was at its peak and she was about to ruin it, and for what?!?!?! Some jerk she didn't even know!!!! He couldn't allow that! He had to put his foot down here.


"Lenny, what the heck are you doing here?? After all the trouble you've caused, you have no right. All this meyhem is your doing. Get out of here!!! NOW!!!"

Jordan felt his temper rising. How dare he show his face here!!!

Gabbie stared at Jordan

"How dare you!! He's here to help!! He's your room mate and you didn't think he deserved to be saved?!?!?! You pompus, self-righteous jerk!!!! Uuuggghhhh!!"

She walked up to Jordan and did something no one had ever had the guts to do before. She slapped him across the face.

Chase stood behind the girls, nursing his shoulder, when Gabbie walked in. Lenny was with her. She introduced him to all of them, but they all knew who he was. Suddenly, Joradn exploded.

"Lenny, what the heck are you doing here?? After all the trouble you've caused, you have no right. All this meyhem is your doing. Get out of here!!! NOW!!!"

Suddenly, something clicked in Chase's mind. Lenny had sent the email!!

Now, it was Gabbie's turn to freak.

"How dare you!! He's here to help!! He's your room mate and you didn't think he deserved to be saved?!?!?! You pompus, self-righteous jerk!!!! Uuuggghhhh!!"

Then, she walked up to him and slapped him across the face. No one had ever confronted Jordan that way!! The look on his face was priceless. Chase couldn't help it. He bent in half and began laughing hysterically. It was just too funny!!!

Skyla was totally lost. What the heck was Jordan talking about. Sure Lenny could be an idiot sometimes, but that was no reason to behaave this way!! She was about to say something when Gabbie exploded at him and slapped him.Chase fell to the floor laughing, and Jordan turned bright red. Oh, he was angry, but there was no danger; she knew Jordan would never hit a girl. But she sure could.

"What the heck was that!!! Who do you think you are, Missy!! You have no right to judge him!! I'm sure he had his reasons, but you, powder puff face, have no reason at all!! You don't like what Jordan does, you can leave. Go on, go!! Otherwise, shut the heck up and sit down!!!"

Jordan took a second to recompose himself, and then placed his arms around Skyla's shoulders and lifted her off the ground. He then replaced her on the other side of the room, away from Gabbie. They didn't need to be fighting each other.

"Look," he said quietly, "I guess Lenny's in for now." he shot him a warning glance. "So let's all just stop fighting. We need to put our heads together and figure out a way to get outta here!! Are you guys with me or not?!?!?!"

"Someone PLEASE tell me what the heck's going on," Liz muttered. This was the most screwed up day in forever.

When everyone started yelling, Lyn covered her ears and hummed quietly to herself. Finally, Liz's lips moving caught her attention and she removed her hands. Pulling out her notebook, she wrote something down and placed the notebook back into her pocket.

Lyn made note of who all was present. "Wonder if they'll all fit?" she thought to herself, "Well, hopefully the gnomes will at least like them."

Jordan shook his head.

"Look, let's put the past behind us and just figure this out. Liz, there's no easy way to explain this,and no time, either. But I promise once we escape I'll explain it all. Okay??"

Clover was trying to ask Lyn what she was doing in the ceiling, when Gabbie, who she had never seen before, and Lenny, who sat at her lunch table. Suddenly Jordan started scraming, Clover could hardly hear what he was saying but his tone in itself frightened Clover. She had never seen Jordan that way before and whished she still hadn't. Clover got as far away from Jordan as she possibly could. She found comfort in hidding behind Lyn and wrapping her arms around her. She looked over at Jordan with frightened eye's but all she saw was an angry face.

Lenny didn't say a word. He couldn't say a word. He was shocked by Jordan's response. He just watched the action and words of those around him.

Look at all the trouble I've caused. I've turned everyone against eachother. Jordan hates me. Maybe he's always hated me. Probably. No one ever likes me. No one liked me at home and now no one likes me here. I wish I were dead. Wait, maybe Gabbie likes me. I hope so. But she'll probably hate me too when she finds what I've done. I've screwed up big time.

Lenny remained silent then Jordan said

"Look, let's put the past behind us and just figure this out. Liz, there's no easy way to explain this,and no time, either. But I promise once we escape I'll explain it all. Okay??"

Lenny walked over to the nearest wall and sat down to listen. He wanted more than anything to be anywhere else but, this was his only chance of escaping deth wich would soon come and he wasn't gonna miss it.

Then he said two words that he didn't use together often. He didn't really direct them to anyone in particular but softly said






"I'm sorry."

It wasn't until all the voices had returned to a normal volume that Lyn noticed Clover cowering behind her. She was a little shocked at the girl's actions, and wasn't sure what to do.

"Is this...a hug?" she wondered to herself. She stood there for a second before reaching around and giving Clover a pat on the head, "There, there, Green Eyes. It's like your birthday, because the gnomes might get us out this time," Lyn thought as turned back around, glancing over at Lenny with a thought or two, then returning her attention to the majority of the group, waiting to see what esacpe ideas might emerge.

Jordan turned to respond to Skyla when he heard Lenny utter something.

"I'm sorry."

Jordan was taken aback. In all his years at the school, his roomate had never used those words together. He didn't know what to say to him.

"Whatever. Don't sweat it, manCome on, we need your help."

The only words she could understand in the conversation was 'escape'. Sweeeeet.

"We're leaving this hell factory?"

((Are we gonna go inthe ceiling soon cause we cant stay in this room forever. They will find us. I suppose Jordan is leading this meeting. so go ahead Everloving.))

((Um.. okay...))

Jordan heard footsteps coming down the hall.

"O crap!! It's the guards!! We've gotta get moving!!"

He quickly climbed up on a desk and lifted a tile from the ceiling.

"Okay... everybodt up!! Up up up!! Let's move!!"

He quickly pulled himself into the ceiling and leaned over, ready to pull the others up.

Gabbie reached up and grabbed Jordan's hand. He lifted her easily into the ceiling and she sat down beside him. Lenny stood upon the desk and Jordan began to pull him up. He struggled a bit, so she decided to help him, but she lost herbalance and fell through the hole, plumitting towards the floor, screaming.

Lenny was standing on the desk grabbing jordans hands to be pulled up into the ceiling when Gabbie started to fall. Lenny's reflexes snapped into action and he let go of Jordan's big hand and reached out grabbing Gabbie. He blushed, holding Gabbie in his arms

"That was a close one. R u allright? Who even came up with meeting in the ceiling its crazy but genius."

He gave he a little lift up to Jordan.

"try to stay up there this time."

Then Lenny climbed up onto the desk and was pulled up as well.

Liz followed, typing a message to Julie. Meet us outside if you can. I don't wanna leave you behind.

Now it was Clover's turn to be lifted into the ceiling, but she didn't want to be anywhere near Jordan and she certainly didn't want him pulling her up.

One of the girls around her lifted onto the desk but Clover just jumped down and shook her head with a scared look on her face.

Alexius watched the others lift up into the ceiling tile, but when it came time for her, she simply couldn't. Not having been torchured an hour previous, simply running on adreniline up till this point, she merely leaned against the wall and slid down it.

Holding her shoulders, she began to shake. She simply had no energy left to walk, let alone escape. All her waiting, bowing down to the powers that be, and for what? To simply give into weakness so close to leaving? But she couldn't, not even for this. She was just too damaged.

And then two guards came to round the corner, immediately noting the one girl in their view, Alexius. The tile in the ceiling was slightly around the corner, but Alexius was in plain view. Looking up, she smiled and whispered to the others, "Liz...Chase...thank you for saving me. It meant alot. Now it's my turn."

Grunting as she slowly stood, the footsteps of the guards turning into a run as they began to recognize who it was they were now pursuing.

She may have no energy, but the majority of fighting she was certified in were about using the other person's energy. As the first came at her with his batton, she grabbed it and twisted her arm to flip him on his back followed by a swift fist downwards on his head, knocking him unconscience.

A few seconds after the first guard was down, the second came tumbling after as she straightend up herself from having attacked the first and stopped the second in his tracks when she jabbed her palm into his chest, collapsing one of his lungs and sending him flying a few feet away.

Taking a few deep breathes, she once again took hold of the wall for support. Her heart pumping madly. Looking up, her vision blurring, she noted the tile was still open and the faces she recognized still there, "A little help?" And then she blacked out...
