CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lenny looked up and saw a girl with long dirty bonde hair and dark blue eyes. He recognized her as Lyn. She was in some of his gym classes, his easy classes. He wasn't in the mood for talking and always thought of Lyn as a little wierd.
"you are still alive." she uttered.
"for now" Lenny mumbled back. He wasn't so sure if her statement was a question or what.
"Hello, Caitlyn. listen i am having a terrible day and i do not really want to talk right now so why dont u just go talk to yourself or a wall or something."

After hearing the announcement, Gabbie and Skyla headed outside with the other students. Not far from the door, she saw Jordan sitting by a tree.
"Hey... what happened in there??? Did someone die??"
Her voice showed a genuine concern. Not only would that be tragic, but it would also mean extreme lockdown for weeks, even monthe. She eagerly awaited the answer.

Skyla followed Gabbie out to the yard, a barren wasteland if ever there was one. They walked over to a depressed looking Jordan. Gabbie began to interogate him, but Skyla remained silent. Something had changed in him. He seemed... sad. Not just the I can't do what I want to sad, but a genuine may not recover from this sad. She sat down beside him and took his hand.
"Jordan... what ever happened in there, it wasn't you fault."

((Jordan is on a random patch of dirt, Lenny is sitting under the tree, right? I'm writing like you meant Gabbie and Skyla are going to talk to Lenny. Not hard at all to change.

"The wall knows how to get to the real world. Do you?" Lyn replied with a half grin, as though the wall was sharing secrets with her. Looking away from Lenny, she scanned the crowd for something, but she wasn't sure what. Looking back at Lenny, she shrugged and walked away, slipping through the still-gathered crowd.
Her mind was racing and she felt the need ot unload her thoughts and sift through them. Lyn stopped for a moment and looked up at the top of the wall. "Talk to a wall Lenny said. Maybe that's not a bad idea. The wall could tell me what's going on in the real world," she thought to herself, "I haven't tried that yet. Or maybe I should talk to Mouse. Prophet might know that location. Just don't dance with the counselors. They step on your toes"
From what the professor had said, the lockdown would last at least until morning, if not longer. Lyn would have to wait until at least then. For now she shuffled along the edge of the wall, waiting until they'd be let back into the school.

Chase nodded, but his shoulder was throbbing.
"We should probably head outside, I guess... that's where we're supposed to go. But what about Alexius?!?! There gonna kill her!!"

Liz lifted her foot and set it on one of the spires twisting out of the roof, thinking. She didn't know Alexious very well, but she had an escape plan. And Liz definitely wanted to escape. "Ok." she said finally. "I'll find her." She slid her finger on the gadget clipped to her arm, watching it open. Scanner On. It took a few seconds to track Alexius down, thanks to the school's genetic data on everyone. "So, you coming or what?"

Meanwhile, in the 'hot box,' a location near on the 3rd level basement, there were 4 levels of basement all together, Alexius was now yelling with each electric shock given to her.
"Tell me Miss Corvin, I want to know what you know."
"I know nothing but what you teach! I don't know what you are talking about!"
"The phone conversation Miss Corvin. What do these codes mean? Who were you in contact with? What were your plans? These are things I need to know Miss Corvin and believe me we have more damaging ways of getting them."
Breathing heavily, she began to imagion the conversation in her head. She had a contact on the outside she had procured through randomized phone connections. People she remembered meeting when she was a child. It had been during the start of the program and it had gotten out what the school was actually doing.
Before she was sent in for evalutions, a group of rebels had tried to kidnap her. In the half hour they were able to keep her with them, they told her many things. But above all, a ten digit number she should call when things were ready. What ready was, she had not been sure. But when the kids began to become more cunning and definent than ever before, she knew this was what they meant.
Another shock to her system, "Answer!" Flustration was clear in the man's voice over the intercom, he wasn't getting what he needed from her.

"We will begin reentrance procedures shortly. You all know the drill and hopefully it won't take very long," the professor said into the bullhorn as some of the guards stationed at the doors moved into posistion. After putting the bullhorn down, the professor leaned over to a lower-level staff member and mumbled, "We've been through more than enough shinanigans for today already. make sure that the students that had to be detained are secure so they will receive minimal contact with the general student body until absolutely necessary."
The guard nodded and quickly turned away from the professor and the crowd, heading back into the building.
Lyn watched a group of geeks compare equations that were mostly over her head, then saw a couple of high-level fighters try to impress a nearby group of girls. Lyn noticed at a couple of them were far higher leveled than the guys, and she smiled blankly at the boys' futility.
For some reason she suddenly felt tired and wanted to sleep. It reminded her of being in the White Wing, always randomly being overcome by sleep or other feelings unexpectedly. Lyn rubbed her arms like she'd briefly felt chilled, but kept moving along the wall.

"No one died yet, but it as my fault in a way. Things got way out of control, and I freaked. It... there gonna kill them!!! All of them!!! Chase, Liz, Alexius, Lenny. All of them gone!!! I mnea, why should I be the one who escaped?? Why should I be so lucky, huh??? Why me?? Why??"
He buried his face in his hands and began to cry.

Clover looked for someone to follow. She began to follow a freakishly tall girl ((no one u know))). Clover was so confused and had no idea what was going on. She wanted to talk to her mom. She wanted to go home. She does not yet know that the school will not willingly let her leave but she is starting to see that this place was more than just a school for the gifted. The peolpe either seemed sad, angry, or insane. except for the occasional content.
"Hey, are you following me?!?!?!?!"
Clover was startled as the large girl turned around and shouted. Clover just stood there and didn't say a word; this was one of those angry type.
"i am having a bad day so just stay out of my way!!!
why are you staring at me!?!?!?! Beat it shrimp!!!"
Clover became frightened and ran in the other direction as fast as she could. She kept running, not knowing anyone. she ran and ran until she saw the boy Jordan from her lunch table. She ran right to him and held onto him, not seeing his sad face and began to cry,
" I hate it here. Everyone is so mean. i just want to go home. i want to see my mom. (sob, sob, sob)"

As the students shuffled along, Lyn pictured heards of cattle mooing as they head into a barn. She was glad that they could go eat and then be in lockdown until tomorrow morning. All she wanted to do was sleep. she hoped that meant all the counseling sessions were cancelled for the day as well. Lyn couldn't remember, but her last session was cancelled too, and she was really starting to fell good, even if it did feel like she got tired faster.
Shrugging it off, she sliently said goodbye to the outside as she passed through the open doors back into the school. They were allowed ten minutes to go to their dorm rooms for whatever reason and then they needed to be in the cafateria. Lyn noticed that there were guards at every corner in the dorms and spread strategicly throughout the school. A level three could figure it out.

Jordan held onto the girl. He dropped to one knee and put his hands on her shoulders.
"Clover, it's gonna be okay. Nothing will happen to you, I promise. I will find a way for all of us to get out of here. I swear it. Now come one."
He lifted her off the ground and placed her on his shoulders.
"Which way to your chambers, O queen."
Playing with the child, he couldn't help but feel a pang of sadnees. Once upon a time, he had had a sister. She was small, just like Clover, but very sickly. One winter, she had caught pnemonea and passed away later that Spring. He loked up at the girl, trying to control his strong emotions.

Clover happily sat on Lordan's shoulders happy to have a friend. "This isn't gonna be so bad" Clover thought to herself.
They walked for a while until they reached Clovers room.
"thank you for taking me back to my room. i guess I'll see you at dinner"
