Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

To see if they were still there, I did a search for my old Tattoo thread from back in 2006. To my surprise some of the links still worked. These are my first two.

The word's "just breathe" on the inside of my wrists. This picture was taken a few hours after I got it. It's in white ink, so now that it's been a few years, it's light and flush with the skin. I got those words because it's a metaphorical "just breathe".

I got this one a week later. It's the word "Passion" in Aramaic. It's on the top of my right foot. Passion as most of us here know, means "suffering". Anyway, this one is still my favorite. Even though I've gotten more since then.

My wrists hurt just from looking at your tattoos. That seems like an extremely painful place to get them done. owe!

Yup. Got a blue rose on my right shoulder (actually a cover up of my very 1st tattoo which my ex did with a homemade gun...not very nice looking lol). Turquoise butterfly on left arm (my first professional tat, just got something small and quick and pretty), with "Joshua" above and "9-14-00" below. Pawprint on my left calf cause I'm an animal lover.

I know, my wrists are all veins .. I don't see any veins through her skin in those pictures, so her skin must be thicker than mine .. I can just see them hitting a vein with the needle and *SPURT* blood everywhere lol.

The wrists were nothing compared to the foot. White ink hurts because it's so light, they have to go over and over, but I'd take that pain over a foot tattoo anyday. I asked my friend who has like 50 or so all over her body and she said the one that hurt the most were the ones on her feet.

That one on my foot hurt... but I like pain, lol... I'm planning on getting this on my left foot. It's a sea turtle I designed...

Oh and this is one of my left wrist not too long ago. You can see the white healed and it's really light. I got the red broken heart right next to it. I went on my lunch break to get it done. It took like 10 minutes and it didn't hurt at all. It's supposed to look like that btw, really sketched looking.

If I ever do get a tatoo it would be something religious or something like a half heart and my girlfriend/wife will have a half heart and every time we hold each the heart will be complete or something sweet.

Something religious..
Something sweet..

The needle doesn't go that deep. I have veins on my wrists that didn't show up in that picture, but I didn't have anything spurt. It barely bled.

I want to get a tattoo on my right calf, above my ankle, of either a turtle or a phoenix. The only thing stopping me from getting one right away is the cost, finding/creating the perfect design, and I'm a little nervous about the pain.

I only have one currently, I have the word faith tattooed in Hebrew on the inside of my left wrist. I have 3-4 more planned, and hoping to start those this summer. The one I'm most excited about is going to be on my left side, up and down, and its a tribute to my grandma who was my favorite person ever.

Ya, mine on my wrist is right over some veins and it didn't bleed at all, I was afraid it would.

I know how that is. Finding the right design is the hard part. I couldn't find a sea turtle I like, so I created my own that I love.

Thats one thing that has stopped me from getting my rib tattoo. Its been hard to explain the design to people, but I can't draw worth beans.

I've designed all of my own (except for the heart) as well as my ex boyfriend's, and two of my tattoos are actually "matching" tattoos that two of my friends got with me. I'm not a tattoo designer but I do design them on occasion, if that makes sense... maybe if I'm down there (if I get accepted into CCBC) we can get together and do some designing.
